I think it’s easier to bypass tonight. Personally think @Connoisseur has come up with the best idea of starting at the minimum after tonight.
Just going to tag everyone in this post and if there are any issues then speak freely fellas

@BarkingGhecko @stephen @THCLT @Ironhawk @Beg2Differ @Professor @Rowsus @eno @toxic @KLo30 @blue dreamer @tso

Read above the last few posts just to cotton on, if you guys are ok with this simply give the post a like
I know, you just want more likes. ;)

Is it on Foxtel tonight ??
It's on Kayo for sure, starts at midnight Eastern, so most likely on Foxtel, yes. (Or 11:45, might have read it wrong on the app)

Late entry view.
I've always thought, that where possible, competitions such as this should endeavour to be inclusive, where possible.
They're designed for fun. Even though there is a very generous prize on offer, I still think erring on the side of including people is the path to take.
The idea of starting on the minimum score coming into the trade period sounds very fair.

Well said. I just don’t want to upset anyone, but recognise majority of the names involved in this competition and assume that majority would probably be comfortable with this outcome.

If you compare the seedings with odds ..

- Cross (10) is the favourite over Sousa (7)
- Cullen (11) is favouriite over Anderson (6)
- Chisnall (13) is favourite over Wade (4)
I was a bit surprised at seeing three seeding underdogs as favourites. I have all 3 in my team, including my C and VC- not sure if that's a good sign or not. Not at all surprised that my other player who made it through the first round in Searle is not the favourite in his match, but I honestly think he's been in good enough form lately that he could beat the #1 seed.

Not going to give any tips myself, but I think Connoisseur usually prefers set betting and most 180's over head to head from what I have seen.

Yep .. I know his betting style ... ;)

- was nothing more than a curiosity post ... as he is usually pretty close in his predictions ...
- but looking forward I don't mind the odd flutter here and there ...

No problem with late entry and happy with what is proposed.

Is the score just cumulative or are we playing for placing a in each event which are then aggregated In some way? If it is the latter it may soften the impact.
Cumulative scoring was the original idea, but I don’t mind the aggregate idea 😂

16 points down to 1 point.

I think I’ve probably committed too much to cumulative to change it, but will keep track of it behind the scenes for future reference.

I'm confused ...

- can anyone explain this in plain English to me with an example ...
- I think that I sort of understand both notions though ..

16 entries
Highest points take 16 points from round 1
2nd highest 15 points
and so on down to last place taking 1 point

Then on to the next tournament where 16 points down to 1 are awarded again

That’s fine. Wasn’t suggesting a change just wasn’t sure. I assume it is mentioned somewhere.

I have a vested fantasy interest in all matches bar the Price VS Searle and Van Gerwen VS Humphries so I might be a tad biased in saying that Searle and Humphries represent great value if they can continue their current form. D Chisnall to win and hit most 180’s at $2.20 is alright as well given their differing game styles. Cullen and Anderson to both hit a 120+ checkout at $4.50 or either man winning 10-9 at $10, as I hope they can have a close encounter similar to the one at the 2018 World Matchplay Quarter Final.

More value is to be found in the BYO markets and those that Ironhawk has also alluded to.

The first 4 in your betting order should start from ~1200am one after the other, roughly an hour each match for 19 legs
Same goes for the bottom 4 matches from ~0600am
Yeah ... how stupid am I ... pulled up the Sportsdeck odds which had the games times ...

- Still waiting to see if @Connoisseur has any tips ... got enough time to put one on ... lol
