Watched the game , he was lucky to score what he got.

First half DE was ordinary and 90% of his disposals were clangers.

Certainly can find the ball though so might be a case of getting use to the pace of the game.
His role is great, I don’t have him though and although I’m happy to have missed his scores, it’s an awkward one because I’d rather trade in players with a big 2nd game.

I’ll probably have to pass on him while those that start/held may reap benefits later

Not too many other cheaper options putting their hand up though to trade him out.

See what Hayes does tomorrow , maybe Ward - > Hayes via F/M.

MacDonald a option , although Hawks have a few to come back in.

Sinn couldn't handle the pace of the game at all.

The ladder has a nice look to it right now. :D

Great win from the Hawks, I was hoping they could at least keep it close, but a 10 goal+ smashing I definitely did not expect.

Mitch Lewis? Coming off a bag of 8 in an intra-club. :p

...I'm actually semi tempted to pick him as a fun pick, but it definitely wouldn't be in SC (way too risky). Hawks seem to be playing a more direct, faster game style this preseason rather than the possession footy game style so many other clubs play. Might catch a few opposition teams off guard before they wake up to it, and one of their forwards could get off to a flyer in early rounds... although it is more likely they cop a few beltings, I know.
Think I summed it up here with this post a few months back, definitely playing a different game style this year. Lewis would not have been a terrible punt either - 8 goals so far this season, averaging 100 in SC, think he was paying something ridiculous like $251 for the Coleman before the season started when I checked which might have been nice to get on too.

So all 3 teams with a new coach won first up. Might be time for clubs to sign coaches for a one game contract to take advantage of this? :)

Probably a good sign for Carlton with Voss missing Rd 2. Good chance to go 2-0.
All 3 teams who changed coaches have started 2-0, not just Carlton. There might be something in it. Wonder if any other club will test the theory further by sacking their coach mid season.
