And I just brought him in in DT 😱

Got cleaned up by SPP (yes, SPP) in the first quarter and seemed to be wincing in the bench. Don’t think he did that much after that.
I started him but wasn't sure on the pick. We have seen players become durable after years of injury like Gray and Adams but it hasn't worked this time. Nic Martin looks like a great cow and I really didn't have any deadwood, otherwise I would keep Butters.

That makes sense.

Which Adams are you thinking of though?

How’d you enjoy English’s night, Darkie? ;)
Not as much as I might have anticipated!

Thanks to you, @Leroy and @wogitalia for your views on him, I think you may have all been correct.

For much of the week I was weighing up Whitfield to Heeney or Gawn to English (including DPP magic), following your feedback. That’s basically what it came down to once I raised the cash to get Cripps.

I was less comfortable with Heeney than English, but my discomfort trading Gawn was greater than from trading Whitfield, and by a bigger margin than the Heeney/English leg, so that’s what I went with.

Very early days to judge that decision, but I may target English for an early upgrade.

With Hough being named, I should I trade Owens instead? Current mid bench is Ward, Stephens and Hough/Owens

Owens is my only non playing player if I keep him

Assuming that you’d rather a playing player than a donut, that makes sense to me.

If WC players don’t actually get Covid near term, they could be out repeatedly due to protocols, leaving Hough with a decent run at it. The coach seems to like him.

Noticed a lot of teams have traded in Bowey. He’s a great pick but given the slightly awkward price and the need to do other adjustment trades this week, I’m curious to know who people traded for him. I thought about Berry to him (moving Hewett) and I guess a few went with McGov (moving SDK)

I did Whitfield, Berry, Gov to Bowey, Cripps and Heeney (using most of my leftover cash).

I’d probably view it as Berry to Bowey, given their price ranges and the need to do Whitfield to get Cripps.
