Doesn't work that way, you have been playing SC long enough to know that. Preuss just scored +100, so Leon is going to back him in again by himself. Then he gets 80 vs Freo where Darcy time is managed in the fwd line. Now, everyone trades him in and the Leon brings Flynn back in for the big Melb duo. Gawn throw him around like he did with Draper and he pops out a 40. Thats how we get sucked in. Before you know it he is injured and dropped and we are trading him out with Xerri moved to the ruck to keep the constant merry go round at R2 going.
Just do the sensible thing, keep your Rucks and have Preuss at R3, making cash and not a worry each week.

Thinking (a) HAVE to get Marshall OUT (was my backup pick after the pre-R1 Darcy debable), and (b) HAVE to get Martin IN ...

So, theoretically:

- Marshall to English
- MID rookie (Stephens / Ward / Hough) to Martin (via Rachele)

Next week, figure out how to get Preuss if / when he's required.

Dow 29/35 CBA's has piqued my interest.

Would be Rachele or Stephens > Dow.

Would be more inclined to do it if I could loop Dow with JHF this week but Stephens plays early (assuming dropped) and doubt Macdonald gets dropped.

Dusty/Prestia are factors too, but looks like Dow is set to be CBA king for the year I would guess.
With a stacked bench how can i squeeze him in. If Stephens is dropped thinking of moving him on early for Dow M11.

Yeah, that's it, although the Witts > Doc trade probably has a point gain attached too, going off the 3 game average that's around 22 PPG, I'm not sure what the difference in the averages over the whole year would be. Made a blue by not having a plan to get Preuss on field and guess that I have to do something about it.
Good luck! Sounds like your mind is pretty close to settled. Make sure you can still complete your team and you don't burn through to many more trades like this!

Looking at Dow myself
Dow 29/35 CBA's has piqued my interest.

seems as though everyone is desperate to get Martin in, myself included but surprised Dow isn’t on many lists, 198k and seems locked in to a depleted tigers midfield, thrown in a 100 for some nice cash gen as well this week.
He's got that 117 in his 3 round average for the next two weeks, he'll make $150,000 easily imo.
Dow's average is lower at 76 but he does look like getting midfield time.
With a stacked bench how can i squeeze him in. If Stephens is dropped thinking of moving him on early for Dow M11.
Da da da Dow Dow Dow da da Dow Dow Dow Dow.
He is a Dow and struggles to turn stats into supercoach points. He had 18 CBA's in his last game for 49 SC points.

Rachele and Owens to Martin and Oliver

Leaves $13,700 and 30 trades:

Short, Ridley, Hewett, Whitfield, Hinge, McCartin (Gibcus, De Konig)

Macrae, Oliver, Jelly, Cripps, Neale, Rowell JHF, Dacios (Ward, Stephens, McDonald)

Grundy, English (Benning)

Dunkley, Butters, Coniglio, Brodie, Xerri, Martin (Hayes, Durdin)

I'm ranked 13k so not going to get where holing cash and trades 😉
