Sandy team sheet just updated, Byrnes and Hayes held back from VFL team, Highmore and Connolly both listed on the ground.

I smell a late change in the AFL lineup meaning both Byrnes and Hayes could end up on the AFL team sheet, unless perhaps they just want to give Hayes a week off to rest given how far he's come as an SSP addition?

Won't know for sure until possibly anything up to 5 mins out from the Saints game (if there's a potential late change in the works), so that probably kills off any manouevring around Martin in the early game for those in that position.

Edit: For those rolling the dice hoping to get Dixon's score on the field and have the C on Hayes the potential impact of Hayes playing or being the sub is:

(96 - Hayes score) + (current VC score - Hayes Steele's? / Cripp's? / Touk's? score)

I'm too scared to take the risk so I'll miss macrae's VC score and I'll roll the dice on cripps/miller. Sucks to drop a 158 captain score but feel the potential carnage with Hayes as late in or even worse, sub, could really ruin my weekend and score! Given I need to know before bombers Crows to field Martin over Hayes I'm just going to rest easy and put Martin F6.

If I could and it meant he was locked in, I would do it.

Hayes would be a risk of a late in, probably if Ryder sore and out. That wouldn't be too bad vs Nic Martin

risk of using him as a sub being a tall player would be so low. If not selected then C goes on him. If he plays he use him. if he is sub, you wonder what you did to deserve that!

I feel a little sick . I fielded Xerri over Brodie.
Got E on Brodie but I don't think I can justify burning another trade to loop him on. All green lights all year makes it difficult, but at least I'm making money.

I think I’m going to win the Ken Hinkley award this week for the worst coaching effort... my team was performing just fine before I started messing around with it ... gahhh!! 🤢

Agreed - Hayes with Ryder out is a big win, would back him in against Martin I reckon.
