Don't think with the likes of Gibcus and SDK that I'd want to cover Hall for even a 3 week hammy

So he's on the chop, as well as Rowell.

In another random question, does anyone have Cogs BE? Outside of that spike game he looks like a 90 average kind of guy, which only puts him 30-40k below peak price (barring another spike )...
I think with Cogs being the 2nd most player owned at 77%, atm he won't really hurt you much if he's failing. It's more what he can do to you as a negative POD that could really hurt you more like scoring a big 149 every now and then. I'd hold for now.

Food for thought on the ruck front. If Reeves' shoulder requires an op, and with McEvoy out for a few months. Does Max Lynch at 207.7k become a serious option?
In a word, yes, but he's a somewhat limited player around the ground and no good up forward really so he probably falls into your standard 150k cash cow territory and might be a bit of a slow burn starting at $207.7k.

Sort of need to change something up. Team is dire.

Rowell + Berry + Blakey > Preuss + Touk + LMac

Best I can do and it's still pretty dire tbh.

Preuss needs to hold down R2 and LMac to activate gull mode down back in Hall's void of significance for it to work. Not high probability 🤷

Got Brodie , Gresham , Martin & Rachele all in my mids

Round 7

Midpricer - > Oliver
Leaves me looking at :-

Rowell hinge and HorneFrancis to preuss, steele/miller/green/Mitchell or brayshaw and Rosa's.

TEAM will look like:
Backline: SHORT, SICILY, HEWETT, WHITFIELD, daicos odriscall / mccartin dekoning
Midfield: MACRAE NEALE STEELE* PETRACCA CRIPPS TRELOAR DANGERFIELD Brodie / MacDonald, rachelle, hollands
Rucks: GRUNDY Preuss / dixon
Forward: DUNKLEY ENGLISH HEENEY CONIGLIO Xerri, Martin / Hayes, rosas

Liking the look of the team and keeping Grundy.

I'm tempted with Steele but i don't feel great paying 640k for him. Oliver is a gun but i already have Petracca and will he get tagged?... Mitchell improving... but will it continue? Brayshaw, Green.. can they sustain it?

Is Mitchell back? Thoughts?

I spent the weekend on the golf course and at the gym instead of watching football, I think this was the best trade I've made this season

The football I did watch was so badly umpired and the rules have become so horrible to watch that I didn't miss the rage inducing idiocy of the sport these days at all when I wasn't watching it, genuinely not enjoying the sport at anymore...

Trade plans are pretty simple.

Ridley can GTFO, lazy POS has lost my belief, I don't even care if he averages 150 from here, I will enjoy this trade more than just about any I've ever made and I've traded Wingard a lot! At the moment leaning towards Steele, Stewart or a cheaper midfield option is also possible.

Rowell can also piss right off, Macrae in. This is easy.

Will grab Preuss if back, especially if sole ruck. Leaning Durdin out but I'd be lying if the rage demon in me wasn't frothing at the bit to get rid of Grundy right now also.

Otherwise, will be continuing with the gym and golf plan of attack, as I said, just not enjoying watching the footy at all. I've always been a "rules not umpires" guy but this year it's a definite both with the umpires probably more to blame.

Gee, Rowell and Hinge to Pendles and Rosas will take a lot of strength to hold me back from that trade.

Considering for Hall out, Pendles. Focus is league.

What's the thought on his role, notable his CBAs lifted this week to 78% from 30-50%. Does this help him? Is Daicos playing a different role.

Pendles was fairly inconsistent last year, with reasonable CBA's. Sicily interesting and Stewart solid without being cheap. Not a fan of Lloyd, feel like he may be dropping away with other teams options.

Can look other lines, have English coming in for Rowell. Petracca good although was mixed last year and with Walsh picking up (will see if it continues with Cripps back), not sure Petracca is top 8-10.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Boost time
Berry's shoulder is a time bomb I have to jump off...I just can't watch it in the rare times he tackles
Rowell gives me $$ to get someone good so now feels right
Hall injury trade to Stewart means I keep up with the pack in terms of premos on field
No more injuries please they are biting me already this year

Hall/Berry/Rowell to Petracca/Stewart/Rosas
