Is Heeney still worth it at 540k, to correct a negative POD? Can't help but think he can't sustain this scoring/health. Burned me in the past but now he's burning me each week as an opponent.
I’m in the same boat as you, was thinking of bringing him in this round as well…. Have held off long enough but think he has shown enough consistency that he will finish top 6 in the forwards…

What are Ridley owners doing?

Slowly bleeding points and cash and to trade him now would allow a midfield upgrade, but there are no obvious weak points in my team and I can just upgrade around him.

Team seems to look stronger with him in there but of course that's contingent on him breaking out of this funk.

Ownership sits at 17% (down from 22.6% at Rd 1) so do people think he can turn it around, or are they just sticking to the mantra of "don't trade uninjured premiums"?

Was in the same boat. Brought him in yesterday. Was also considering Taranto and JDG.
He looks like having a career year.

Tempted to go English to Heeney, but that would burn another boost.

I can't decide either.
I think it largely depends on your coverage.

Sideways trades in upgrade season are bad news.

I think anyone that has Preuss there has at least a week to make the decision. Next week it's likely that for most it's going to be Hayes>Hayes, which means English goes to the forward bench where coverage is probably thinner and so covering for a couple of weeks is likely to cost points.

Dogs are one of the last games next week, so probably get the chance to at least sight your coverage again, albeit you'll have limited trade options by that point.

I've held with Preuss covering and Steele as VC (English my only donut) as that should relatively match a Parker/Heeney and I think the Rowell to Macrae move should result in a better return. I've been wrong on just about everything this year though so...
