What's up with Lloyd. Looked good in the imited games I've seen of him. Juicy price, but ugly average.
Blakey stealing points and possessions is my naive interpretation based off the couple of games I've seen. Instead of Lloyd switching back and forth between the wings, Blakey gets it and lopes down the field like a SC-point-stealing werewolf.

Looks fine, starved of supply against the Hawks, can't understate how much Sydney dominated after the first 15 minutes, there's a reason that Rampe, Campbell, McCartin x2 and Cunningham are the 5 lowest scoring AFL calibre Swans and that Blakey and Lloyd also had low scores. Even when the Hawks were on top it was more ruthless efficiency going forward than any sustained ball forward, most of their goals were incredibly "easy" goals.

He's not a 110+ guy anymore, he's sharing the pill with Blakey and Campbell, he's sharing intercepts with Rampe, Blakey and both McCartins and the Swans are a considerably better team with a genuine ball winning midfield that looks to get forward much more but he should be a solid 100-105 guy when it's all said and done.

I agree. It's hard to see who we "need" at the moment.
Hewett has a great role. Does Sinclair get affected by returning players? Does Doch get some attention?
I also noticed that Crisp is scoring better than Lloyd and Hall yet I think some made that trade.
Every chance I take a Hall punt, risked it last year and flew up the ranks, if its a scenario where I only need less than half a season from him again it feels worth the risk to me.

I have 2 defender spots to fill over the next 2 weeks, currently have Doc, Crisp, Hewett, Ryan, Daicos, NO'D

Noddy will go this week and Short and Zorks are the targets (I can get either next week too) question is....Do I go with Short this week with his low BE or Zorks with his matchup against Wet Toast?

@Connoisseur I don't suppose you have anything in your kit bag about Luke Ryan in wins and losses, and at home and away? Big thanks in advance if so.

Does anybody have in insights into a defensive downgrade who may play in future if we are forced to roll the dice to cash out the Gibcus, SDK, McCartin types?

This is great, thanks! Have never owned him, partly due to high variance and timing not working out, but looks good value at the moment and thought it might be possible to ride a wave of high scores into the bye and maybe even cash out then. Was a bit worried he might score worse in wins, given they're looking good, so glad to see there isn't evidence of that. Think I'll take the plunge. Wish me luck!

I'm strongly considering Zach Reid at 173k next round against my instincts. Just looking for a warm body through the byes (even though he has worst possible bye for a defender).

Sam Skinner and Josh Sinn are two who have played who we should hopefully see again at some point (but also with the bad bye).

I had been waiting in Charlie Dean but apparently he has had a setback and not expected back till after byes.

Karl Worner was emergency last week so might be in the mix.

Buku Khamis has been playing well in the VFL apparently.

Jacob Wehr keeps popping up on best in VFL lists but hard to see where he fits in.

Will Kelly and Will Gould (ha!) the others who get mentioned every now and then.

In short, no.

Another one I will add is Josh Fahey - half back rebounder that is an excellent kick. Been playing well in the reserves for GWS, 117K.

Write up from his game on the weekend :-
Josh Fahey
27 disposals, 5 marks

Exciting ball use off half back. He was involved in a lot of our scoring chains and used the ball really well by foot.

Can’t see him debuting this week after the giants great performance on the weekend but he would be close.
