I am not sure if I missed something here but the saying is actually “one fell swoop”. “Fell” is an old word that means fierce or ruthless. The saying has nothing to do with chickens,
My understanding is that the “fell swoop” is what a bird of prey (eg falcon) does when it attacks its prey. It flys to its optimal heigh and then dives into its “fell swoop” as it descends at full speed to capture its dinner.

The one that I cannot figure out is "at the minute". Until a few years ago I had never heard that. As in, it was "Joe Smith is not playing vey well at the moment." Now you hear "Joe Smith is not playing vey well at the minute." ***. Sounds seriously weird to me and irritates like a double gee in my jocks every time I hear it.

Hmm, after a decent week last round, in 1 fowl swoop they're goes 7 players in my side either confirmed out or at risk, side is hanging on tender hooks atm.

Dont waana be a damp squid but man I'm looking at loosing my leagues this week, don't think I'll beat noone. Should of thought harder about my team from the get go.

The worst one for me is people who use loose instead of lose, most commonly used as looser instead of loser. I think it's a very sport focused one but it rustles my jimmies.

There/their/they're is up there as well.

Dominant/Dominance is the other one that gets me, another very sport focused but it gets me every time I see it!
Another one that gets me every time Is ‘defiantly vs definitely’ as in defiantly in the sh*t which I definitely am.
