I think Grundy is very much a part of the plan to extend captain Gawns career.
Agreed. Gawn back is not horrible and can do well in this role, just expect his CBA’s are closer to 50/50 with Grundy. Will have to do some work around this in the new year. Otherwise English Marshall or maybe DC are more solid choices.

First crack this year. Want to squeeze in rookie priced Oscar Allen, King types and have enough cash for Ashcroft if required so something would have to give. Flicking Marshall to a cheaper R2 would help fund this, thinking he may play more fwd with the absence of King. Will monitor the saints training. Yeo in for now, need to see how injury free he'll be later next year, if a fail ill need to restructure the fwd line to upgrade the defence.
I think Cogs could have a huge year with Taranto and Hopper gone. Same with Tom Green. Their on the watch list. Merry Christmas everyone.

Running my eyes ove the Saints Prospect this year.

Marshell current R1

Would appreciate any up dates on Hunter Clark on where he is training with the DEF or MID group.

This Kid Bytel, will he play this year as midfield relief.?

I have noticed early that no one is going with Dylan. Moore from Hawks, surely with the midfielders moved on during the off season he is great value. His price would be $506k?
As a hawks fan I am a massive fan of Moore. He did play that mid / fwd role last season. Can see him and Wingard rotating mid / fwd this year. Solid pick but don’t see much upside really at over 500k.

My first crack.

Defence: would love to fit sinclair or sicily in but they are overpriced and there is value elsewhere. Whisper should progress further, and tipping Lloyd to get back to solid premium numbers even if Uber days are behind him. Maynard the questionable but scored 100 and 90 in the two years prior to last. Risky with 3 rookies on field, will rearrange mids and bring in clark if they don't show.

Predicted top scorers: Sinclair, Sicily, Docherty, Lloyd, Dawson, Daicos, Stewart and Saad (then Dale, Rich, Brayshaw and Ryan)

Mids: plan to go heavy here if rookies elsewhere allows it. Starting with what I expect to be 5 of the top 7 scorers, leaving Laird and Neale as upgrade targets. Expect Mitchell to get back to 105-110 if he plays the right role, and Hopper is perfectly positioned as a stepping stone that will score well.

Predicted top scorers: Oliver, Laird, Miller, Neale, Macrae, Steele, Walsh, Bontempelli, Mills, Petracca and Brayshaw (then Merrett)

Rucks: Hard to pick top two scorers out of Grundy/Darcy/Witts/Gawn/Nic Nat/English and O'Brien...have gone with Nic Nat-Grundy combo on price alone. Only expecting 105-110.

Predicted top scorers: Grundy, Witts and Gawn (then Natanui, Darcy, English and O'Brien)

Forwards: Dunkley the standout option, and then the value...Fyfe and Thomas both could go close to premium forward numbers if things fall their way...whereas Allan, McLean (should he start) and King should be solid enough stepping stone / premium rookie options.

Predicted top scorers: Dunkley, Rozee, Coniglio, Butters, Heeney, Taranto, Moore, Hawkins (then Martin and Gulden)

Tsatas and Tsitas on the same line would get confusing, at least to me. :ROFLMAO:

Saw Dangerfield made a comment about max Holmes having the potential to be the best player in the league one day in his opinion.
Might have to have a watch of him over preseason. Priced at 65 and averaged 95 in his last 5 games of this season including finals, which also includes being subbed off early in the prelim due to injury.
Theres midfield minutes opened up with selwoods retirement and if danger is making public comments like that then you’d imagine the clubs view on him internally must be very good

Hunter currently training with the mids under Lenny’s tutelage

Bytel has come back in ripping shape really slimmed down - I expect him to be a bit of a surprise packet next year

What's his current position in SC?
