Whom do you suggest to leave our mate? Steeks- I think is a no-brainier. Neser-does he have job security for the 2nd game? Bazley-bowling at death I guess or do you think I can let go bazley and go for Naveed?
Steketee is an absolute lock for me, surprised hes not common place in everyones trade ins, Bazley has me torn a bit, originally had him as an absolute lock aswell but just wonder how much Neser impacts, could feasibly bat behind him and lose the death role.

halved my season rank to like 6k something ,feels like I’m in a lot more trouble than that though. Have lost just about every 50/50 and fade call the first two rounds. What an insane season so far!
He will rise in price, but could get overpriced soon if he’s not scoring meaningful batting points or breaking new ground with the ball.
I don’t have him, and despite rating him as one of the best players in the comp, I think he may rise and then fall back to a fairly similar price before his next double. I wouldn’t trade him out in c. 3 rounds, and don’t need him for a while after that, so the rise isn’t that relevant for me. I am thinking I’d rather have that cash invested in DGR players than a (very good) SGR player.
[Plus he could get rested/reinjured, but the above is enough for me at this point.]
Has there been anything definite that Neser is available for the 2nd game? Test Squad usually travels to Melbourne early and has a Christmas function together, worried he might play tonight and then be pulled out.

I’m in the same boat as a non-Richo owner. I actually think the only issue for us should be if we think he gets rested.
Round 4, 6 and 7 are all gameweeks where there are no teams on a double. If Jhye plays, you not only need him in your team for those weeks, you’re probably putting the C or VC on him.
So I know I want him from next round if he doesn’t get rested. But he’s be is a huge negative number this week. So unless we have definitive news on a rest (i don’t want to hold off on bringing him in again with false hope that he gets rested), I think i’ll be sacrifice a Colin Munro type to bring in Richo. My team will probably look weaker this week, and it’s annoying after having a poor non-richo week lasy week. But from next week on, my team will be (theoretically) just as good as everyone elses, and I don’t have to worry about not owning richo.

The Neser situation starting to sound like Jhye 2.0.
If Neser is named in the XI tomorrow night I’m just going to go right ahead and pick him. If he misses the second game, so be it. Hopefully he posts a decent enough score first up anyway.

I think that will most likely be the first match for the tournament where the batting points outscores the fielding points. Bit worried I don't have enough exposure to batters in that game, as I expect there could be some huge scores.

I think I'm following suit on that on the same logic.
I've been playing around with pairing him with Steketee because I think it makes the most sense if Neser was to miss the 2nd game. I don't particularly think Steketee is the best value pick, but I have enough value picks currently in the squad to justify making this move, with the Gades and Sixers that I want to add looking to be on a price slide for at least this week, and one easily gettable through Steketee.
It also gives me greater security in that Steketee provides a more certain VC option. If I'm not happy with the score I'm just going to roll over to Jhye anyway. If Neser goes off it would annoy me more than worrying about a missed game.
I was originally wanting Shadab for his dual role, but can't quite make it work with funds.
