Anyone had any luck trying to play SC from London?
I move over in May and keen to hear any tips. Horrid timing for day games, but night games are ok - probably going to struggle.

On that note - if there's any London-based SC leagues I'd be keen to join!

It definitely makes it a lot harder. You miss most of the late outs, loopholes become very hard and the motivation when no one else cares does become challenging.

I definitely struggled keeping the care factor up while doing it but it can definitely be done, you'll be waking up early if you want to be genuinely competitive though.

I was in the middle of posting something quite lengthy and detailed today (it was pretty good stuff if i do say so myself :p), and then I thought to myself "nah - too many people here know about this already" - but then also "so many people don't". What I sadly came to realise is .... I'm getting old :( There's always a new crop coming through.

I joined this site in Feb 2014. That means that this is my 10th pre-season using this website as a SuperCoach resource. Today, there are countless TikTok's, YouTube pages, Twitter Pages and a heap of other resources out there. Not to mention the advancement in technology and data.

Jay, @Impromptu, mate honestly this is a thank you as much as anything else. And also those along side Jay and us, the community, that have gone in to creating what is SCS today. I personally still believe that SuperCoach Scores, bar none, is the greatest SuperCoach resource available to this day.

I want to make an effort to be more involved in this community this year. I see so many social pages out there these days sharing there knowledge. It's fantastic. I love it. I have knowledge to share too, and I want to share it here on the best SC website around. I value my insight, but I owe this website, I owe this community and other members who have provided me so much over the years. I was lucky enough to have 2 x top 100 finishes in the last 10 years, and a few more in the top 500 (I've also had a few shockers - where were you then SCS!?!?! :p).

I saw the guy that came 4th last year, AbsMagic, is making YouTube videos and him sharing his knowledge, I'm thinking 'why not'. Not to say there's not way better SC'ers out there than me sharing here daily - my word there is! I just want to add value to others game, and try my best to help you, the reader.

I've posted on average 16 times per year. It's so very little from what I take out of it. A forum only works when people add to it.

So this year, I want to post more, engage more, and be a part of this community to see it grow and thrive in to the future. I'm sorry if you already know what I post, but I guarantee there is a Supercoacher out there that was me 10 years ago, saying "please help me!" and comes across this website. My work life, personal life, now enable me to be more active here. No excuses. Bookmark for myself in 12 months time ay and see if I came through.

Thank you for the kind words, mate.

While, I cannot always be online due to other commitments, I am proud that the SCS Community has created a SCS SuperCoach forum where there is no trolling, baiting or harassment and people can just log on for a bit of fun.

While it's nice to have the current and previous AFL and/or BBL SuperCoach champions, I don't really care about that to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I love mentioning that the SCS website has the current and previous AFL and/or BBL SuperCoach champions, but it's not a priority or a big deal to me.

For me, if I have helped anyone on this website just due to its existence then I'm very happy. I'm also proud to have the SCS website during the pandemic where hopefully its existence helped with people's boredom to some extent when we were in lockdown.

I actually just keep the website for the people and the SCS community rather than any monetary gains as SCS Cash Leagues (entry fee includes donations) pay for the maintenance of SuperCoach Scores and the Leadership Team and I get paid nothing.

Strange, how some of us know each other for over 10 years now and imagine if in 20 years time we still all know each (a lot more grey hair for me too).

Myself and a mate did it for years in the late 00s / early 10s. Was a bit easier back then as you didn't have the rolling lockouts.

Still remember running around somewhere in Egypt one March morning to lock in our Round 1 teams, slotting Barlow in.

It can be done but it late outs and trying to juggle VC / C choices is difficult. just nail the VC on the friday night game and never have late outs. Easy.

Hey Everyone - hope all SCSers are well and looking forward to the 2023 season - I have had a full on AFL detox so i have literally no idea what is going on haha.

Tom Mitchell plays for Collingwood now and Dunkley plays for Brisbane......random!

Oh i know one thing as I watched him in the SANFL last year.....Luke Pedlar is a gun and I love watching that kid play. Super injury prone and probably rots at half fwd but I think he is a lock for the R1 team if he gets through the pre season
I've had a bit of a detox as well and couldn't believe Lachie Hunter wasn't at the dogs!
And Ross Lyon is back coaching!

Does anyone know how to fix this.

After the last round of BBL I've been unable to load the website from my home network.

I can load from my phone but only when I go off wifi from my home network.

I don't have an issue with any other site.

Seriously mate, this is not the time to be mucking around. Throw it out the window and go down to Harvey Norman and buy a new one right now!
There is 38 days until AFL SC opens and every second matters.
