Hopper scaled down to 67…. if there’s some other $300k ish mid pricer averaging 100 at R3, will be tempting to give him the flick!
I think he will be OK, his role was still good, playing as an inside mid. I think you want him to average 90 at his price which i still think he will. Compare him to a guy like Butters (who actually had a worse role that hopper as he played forward a lot more that hopper does), Butters had 3 scores in the 50's and a 68 last year and still averaged 96. Hopefully Hopper's 67 is just one of his lower scores for the year. Given his role as an inside mid and the fact he averaged 90+ for 3 seasons in a row before his injury ridden year last year, he'll have his games were he goes big as well.

Completely agree. Is it a modern mindset for instant gratification that means there must be a winner and a loser else the game has no value?
I might be in the minority, but to me a fighting draw against the odds is just as satisfying as a win.
I like the draw - it's not like it happens that often, provides some extra intrigue into end of year ladder RE who makes finals and %, etc

That's what he was supposed to be doing I think but certainly wasn't what he was doing for 90% of the game

Expect him to average around 80, which is fine as a stepping stone at that price.
67 is within a range of 60-100 per game, especially in a first game for a new club.
Made his break even, definitely hold for another week.
Shouldn't be trading players until end of rnd 2 anyway, except for LTI.
Agree and I think if you treat Hopper as a step stone to 'hop' (pun intended) onto a Super Premium then it's okay.

However, my guess is Hopper will probably need at 80 to 90 next week to help keep the faith for Hopper owners, GLA

Taranto got so much of the ball. Really knows how to find it, but it’s like he just panics. Either chucks it on his boot forward or he tries a quick handball over the top. Didn’t see a lot of composure from him. Reckon he has better games with DE where he scores 120, and others where he doesn’t get 30 touches and scores 60-70. Could be a bit of a roller coaster. Overall, I had him going 100-105 and that’s exactly what he did last night.

...
To be fair, other than a few finals, the crowd he played in front of last night was probably bigger than the sum total of all crowds he had played before in his 8 years at the Giants. I'll grant him and Hopper a little grace for being overawed by the occasion :)

My one mid pricer, he'll probably top out at around $420k is how I'm reading it.
Might get lucky and get $450k.

All this hopping is sounding like a game of Frogger!
I said-a hip, hop, the hippie, the hippie
To the hip hip hop-a you don't stop the rock
It to the bang-bang boogie, say up jump the boogie
To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat
