Pencilled in until I think about it a bit more

Brayshaw - > Setterfield
Darcy - > Cameron
Chesser - > Gulden via Davey

Removes my rookie @ F6

Relying on Cole & Constable @ D5/D6
Nah , it's Daicos time

Brayshaw - > Daicos via Constable
Darcy - > Cameron
Chesser - > Gulden via Davey

Now just hope all my bench rookies maintain their spots and make some dollars.

Hope team-sheets / loops make things clearer this week.

Flanders > Chandler makes sense to me, if I do grab Ziebell, I'll need the $$$ from somewhere.
I think in all likelihood I'll go Cumming > Daicos as my other trade.

I will probably miss out on Ziebell, would only be able to go Hollands or Mackenzie to Ziebell with the above trades, which I will not be doing.

Who knows though, I could foresee someone like Mackenzie getting a rest (CBA's went from 52 to 25 with Nash/Ward/Day all getting a boost, Hawks may want to drop a mid somewhere since I don't think playing Mackenzie forward is the go) which could faciliate a short term trade of Mackenzie > Ziebell (grab Mackenzie back at a latter stage)

Don't know for sure about Setterfield/Hopper's potential injuries (would be pretty crazy to trade either out if it's short term)

Hall could come in too, which may be enough justification to not go crazy getting Ziebell in if it's too hard.

tldr; very important and tough week for trades!! But things should hopefully become clearer.... Otherwise I may miss out on Ziegull! o_O

Bruhn > Sheezel
Darcy > D.Cameron
Callaghan > Naicos

Missing out on Chandler, but fortunate enough to have Caminiti in there. Having Daicos at D4 seems decent too. Already had Setterfield from the start, but looks like that POD is gone with everyone bringing him in 😂

I want all of D Cameron, LDU, Setterfield and Chandler.

Chopping block is Jones, Callaghan, JHF and Ratugolea.

But need 2 weeks to complete, and I'll also be $30k short after expected price movements...

So from left field am thinking will go Docherty to Cox (net expected value difference in 1 week = 91.2k), along with Jones and Ratugolea to Setterfield (via Chesser) and Chandler. Leaves me with $565k for next week to bring in D Cameron and LDU (from JHF and Callaghan), and 104k to go from Cox back to a premium (whether Doc if he recovers as expected, or someone else) the following week.

Sounds crazy. That's what 36 trades will do.

I saw most of the second half of gws v west coast. I actually thought Callaghan played okayish. He runs very hard but gws didn't have much control of the ball. The ball also seemed to live on the wrong wing. Callaghan has great disposal but he chooses the lowest percentage option which causes turnovers. I wish I didnt trade him in but he's a good player.

I barely noticed Buckley but he is a potential trade in if he can fit your structure?

There's a lot of options available and with only a couple of glaring outs and about a dozen preferable ins, it's about financing the moves as much as anything.

My targets (in rough order) are:
Sheezel - massive rookie scorer with a great role
Ziebell - I've seen enough to know that there's a few points to go around in the Roos backline.
N Daicos - I feel that the first two represent the best value but it will be annoying having to pay $50-100K more for Daicos eventually.
Chandler - has scored well and his role concerns have dissipated a little but is set to make a lot of cash and probably only needs to play a couple more games
Setterfield - the combo of price point and scoring has me interested

The issues:
Darcy scoring terribly and Freo playing abysmally.
Ratu being stuck on field
Callaghan probably injured
Chesser not looking up to it (at this stage)

Will look at options but some leftfield ones are:
1. Darcy, Callaghan and Greene to Ryan (Tigers R/F), Ziebell and Sheezel - looping Ratu and Ryan as R2
2. Darcy, Callaghan and Jones to D Cameron, Ziebell and Sheezel
3. Callaghan and Chesser to Sheezel and Chandler (forgoes a likely cheap keeper in Ziebell)

Pending injury news....

Cumming > Bowes (I know, a week early)
Chesser > Cole
Uwland > Setterfield

Going early on Bowes because Cumming down to him is pretty much my only avenue to get Setterfield in, Chesser > Cole feels like I'm avoiding a sub risk, same with Uwland.
Could do a straight swap of JHF > Setters but will hold fire on jettisoning JHF.
I'm passing on Daicos for now after reading what @Rowsus had to say in the review thread, getting 2 more MP,s in at the expense of Cumming, hoping to make more cash and increase onfield pts.

For those like me trying to assess choices. I am not sure Chandler's cash generation is necessarily must have is it? I think he goes up close to $200K this round then another $40K depending on scoring.

Whether that's absolutely critical for the cost of a trade if you have other priorities I am not sure

This is my team - have 118k in the bank.

My desire is to get rid of Dale - potentially to Ryan. Have the cash to do these trades though:

Jones to McKenna
Mackenzie to Setterfield

Is this trading for the sake of it? Relatively happy with my team TBH, which worries me! Screenshot_20230327_134731_Chrome.jpg

The team looks good!

Do you feel Setterfield is a keeper?

I think Jones scored this round how you would expect so I think he is worth holding. Perhaps McVee to McKenna is a better rookie correction.
If Mackenzie's scores were reversed (90 this week) would you have him up for trade?

No and no... which is the issue! I can definitely correct McVee to McKenna, have the cash to do that no worries. Could also do Chesser to Chandler and swing ADJ in the mids...

Everyone trading Callahan fast, are we sure he is injured/won't play next week or are people just looking for an excuse to get up to Setterfield?
He does for me unfortunately - not saying he won't play but after having Jarrod Berry last year I don't fancy watching one of my players doing really well but worrying every time they make physical contact. Not saying it will be the same for Finn but hI don't view him as must have and I have the cash to go to Setterfield who at a minimum looks like making me some quick $$

Steele/Callaghan to N Daicos/Setterfield are my trades this week
