It's not significantly worse than what the Gabba dealt with in 2020, and they'll be better prepared to boot. Even Metricon lasted a couple of months of consistent footy before they had to re-lay part of it.

Wonder if any NRL fans have any insight on this score from past Magic Rounds though.

Not SC chat I know, but what was Lynch supposed to do? Leave himself opened up to be clattered into by the bloke coming the other way? He simply turns side on to protect himself.
