Sorry if covered, haven't had time to go through thread but can I trade Doch to player x, reverse it after tonight's game to bring someone else in with Doch being traded regardless?
It technically won't let you reverse it (eg, bring Doc back in and then trade him) as Doc will be locked out, but you can "on trade" the player you brought in to another player that isn't locked out.

For example, if you trade Doc to Redman now, and then tomorrow decide you'd rather Lloyd, you can just trade Redman to Lloyd without the costing an additional trade.

Jones/Young > Ryan/Stewart?

Feels veryyyyy luxurious, don't know what to make of Young moving forward. Above moves would push Constable to the backline meaning I can loop Wilmot/Cowan at D6. The have a lot more rookie flex next week once Sheezel and Ziebell get DPP, can essentially field any of Ryan/Esava/Wilmot/Cowan as that last 'weak' rookie on field.

Think it would be a no-brainer if I had an extra trade or two in the back pocket...

This might sound counter intuitive.. but if Gibney is rested this week I think I'll hold and if he is named I think he'll be the one I trade out. A low score this week will torch his cash gen and it sounds like he'll miss one of the next few games so there is a known miss ahead... If he gets the rest this week I can see him bouncing back with some good scoring post that rest, but if he plays another tired game against the cats who have started to find their mojo..
Just need to wait on teams to make sure I don't be eating a donut.. and also need to work out how I can make that work with trades as it would mean trading out 2 defenders with limited DPPP swing until the changes kick in next week..

I dunno man, cash is king this year with crappy rookies on the horizon I want to milk as much as possible out of an elite talent like Ginbey. Feels hasty selling him this week for minimal profit IMO.

Wishing I had a bit more cash in the bank this week! Mills role is giving my grief so thinking he might have to move on to get me some cash to upgrade Doc to Dawson, but feels too sideways for my liking. Really liked Redman end of last year and grabbed him in a draft league so not opposed to grabbing him (wish I trusted my gut and started him over Ridley)

Option 1) Doc > Redman
Option 2) Doc + Mills > Dawson + JDG

Ryan is apparently carrying some type of injury or soreness and may be in doubt for game. There were tweets around it yday. Very cloak and dagger stuff from Freo. They have been poor this year, covering up Fyfe injury, Andy Brayshaw also carrying something but nearly better yday they said.

Maybe check round 5 in round pages as I think it was posted there too.

Had missed this and was just playing around with trading him in, thank you!

If he averages 70 from here he slow burns to another $60k, that 40 from last week has stalled things a lot:

Problem is, if he plays this week and scores another sub 60 score things really grind to a halt. If it was just a bad game that's one thing, but the coach talking about how tired he is and that he needs a rest doesn't exactly paint the picture of a guy who'll come out and bounce back this week. Add to that the fact he will miss a game soon - coach all but confirmed it - meaning you potentially have a guy who hits the cash gen wall AND won't play next week.

It's all speculation, but I don't really have many obvious trade outs this week but likely need to the cash to get Doc to someone good, so he is one that if named actually represents more risk than some others. If he misses this week, I'd back him into go over 70-80+ next week and get things going again, but if he plays this week there are just enough signs to say maybe he isn't an essential hold.

Whats wrong with florent? Everything pointing to a breakout…. Playing a good role and scoring well. Taking some kick ins. He was a first round draft pick.
Just his scoring history I guess, if he reverts back to that you've got a big fail for 440 grand, could be his breakout year I guess, who knows?
No risk, no reward right?

I have Jones and Ginbey, but with both Sheezel and Ziebell getting fwd/def status next week and the ability to move one or both back, means they can both wait a week and see what the SC gods deliver us this round.
