He probably already has Bont.
Neale I am worried about from an SC POV. Last year, with Lyons slowing (even if it was injury related), Neale was generally the first Lions player to get his hands to the ball. McCluggage could do it to a degree but it was a fraction of the time, and other guys who rotated through like Bailey or Robertson weren't doing it either. Now Dunkley and Ashcroft both can get their hands to the ball as well as McCluggage not going away either, so it's not that Neale is taking a backseat but it's more that he doesn't have to do absolutely everything himself. He'll probably still finish as a top 8 midfielder but I don't think he'll be top three.

Dunkley and Ashcroft haven’t been impacting him too much in and around stoppages. If anything, Dunkley is enhancing Neale’s scoring like he did for Macrae at the Bulldogs. Ashcroft’s involvement has been negligible the last couple of weeks in terms of impacting Neale. He receives a lot of handballs from Neale and Dunkley I’ve noticed rather than winning much of his own ball.
Last week Neale obviously dominated, but I could see it building with his first 4 rounds of scoring despite some people bemoaning their disappointment in his scoring.
Apart from the fact Neale has the round 12 bye, he has a pretty good draw the next 6 weeks. I see GWS and Fremantle in round 7 as more opportunities to go nuts. Especially if there is no tag forthcoming.
