Opinion Questions For Rowsus

Hey Rowsus, not sure how you'd calculate it but is it worth trading in Kelly for Michie assuming Michie will play next week?
My current mid setup is: Ablett, Watson, Cotchin, Beams, Tyson, Polec, Ellis, Dunstan (Michie, M.Crouch)
This would mean one of Polec/Ellis/Dunstan would be benched every week.
Is it worth using 40k and a trade to get a rookie who may average ~95?

LOL, I see where you are coming from, but it is actually a season average you need to look at.
Yes, early in the season, the potential is there for them to be only worth 50, but as the season rolls on, and your team gets stronger, you hope that your bench cover also gets stronger. I could use a rolling scale, PIT50 rounds 1-8, PIT65 rounds 9-15, PIT70 rounds 16-23. I'm just lazy, and settled on 65. The great thing about the system is, that everyone can set their own level. You may PIT50 your Defs, but PIT85 your Mids. As we each use our own assessment, it helps seperate our judgements just that little bit more.

What are your thoughts on Kelly?
I was thinking of swinging Taylor into F6 and dropping Caddy to Kelly.
That means I will go from playing Caddy+Ellis/Dunstan to Kelly+Taylor.
Not sure if its worth a trade, but I think Kelly will be one of the highest scoring rookies and Caddy isn't really impressing

the question is more of an assessment Michie's JS, then assessing Kelly's scoring potential.
If Michie comes back, and scores 70-75, he will make you about 150k.
To use a trade to go from him to Kelly, you need Kelly to make about 300k, which means Kelly needs to average around 100!
Don't judge him on today, it was only Melbourne!
So, if you think Michie is nearly done, and will struggle to get back, it is an ok, trade, but only ok.
If you think Michie will come back, and get 70's, it's a bad trade.

Rowsus, Rowsus, Rowsus. Last Monday I wrote to you as above. Did I trade to Hooker? Yes I did. Did I trade to Merrett? No. I traded in Lachlan Hunter.
Hunter did okay but as always it was a case of "off goes your head and on goes a pumpkin". Merrett interested me because Bomber as asked on the AFL website pre season who he thought could have a breakout season this year. His answer was Jackson Merrett. Too late now.

It is just me, or do there seem to be more 'massive' player scores over the last three rounds compared to last year?
Perhaps I am forgetful, but 150 used to be huge and you would only see a couple of those a week. This week we have had:
GAJ - 182
Treloar - 176
Mummy - 164
Rocky - 155
Libba - 154
And 9 more players 130+
Round 1 - 130-139 = 8 players
140-149 = 6 players
150-157 = 4 players
Round 2 - 130-139 = 3 players
140-149 = 2 players
150-159 = 3 players
Zorko = 161
Boomer = 169
Pendles = 182
Now if they deserve it, then sure happy for big points to be awarded. But for 18/11/14 players to go 130+ in the last three rounds smells of something has changed in how points are awarded...
