Yeah, I can't decide whether he's an obvious pick or a trap. If you take out his spike score vs North, he's averaging 88.
To be fair, you should take out both his upper and lower outlier scores, which leaves you with a 98 and a 107.
This isn't really enough to decide if he's a good pick or a trap. Sort of in the 'go with your gut' range.

I think that's fair to remove low outliers as well, but I don't consider 60 to be a low outlier for a guy who only averaged 66 last season.

Excellent. Looking forward to that 40k from Constable this week. 😀

As a side note, top trade in options (not already in my team) this week seem to be:
Day, pure midfield role in a bottom four team, bereft of midfielders and in a rebuild
Ziebell, bruise free, seagull role, kick in King
Sicily, just about bottomed out
Macrae & Neale, both capable of a 120 average, but priced below that.
Butters, fwds look trash this year, good BE

Anyone looking at a triple downgrade?

Eg. Bringing in: Mitchell, Wagner and Sturt?

Lots of the upgrade targets I’m looking at still have break-evens over 100 🤔
The problem with that strategy this week, is that next weeks crop includes Cincotta, Angwin and Simpson, all of whom look fieldable and have better JS than the Freo rookies IMO,

Thinking next week could potentially be worth a triple downgrade with the options mentioned and even Teakle as well.

Just looking at that and the DT-SC ratio was pretty harsh, 98-60 with 3 clangers but what hurt him the most was 6-7 ineffective disposals. I'm willing to discount the 60 because of that as well as it was his 1st full game as an inside mid, tidied things up considerably after that game.

Is Callum Mills playing a different role this season? Just has more capable mids playing along side him this season, or simply a slow start?

Anyone got thoughts/opinions on Rowell as a discounted trade in option?

BE of 31 and Miller’s points need to be shared around somewhere.

This was posted in the DPP thread, some suggestion the percentage of time spent in defence may decrease when back line reinforcements arrive...but I am certainly no expert on the matter
