How the team looks after using my last boost to bring Oliver and two questionable rookies (Drury and Weddle) in lol. I've been extremely aggressive the last few weeks so will probably just park it for a bit in the next couple of weeks to wait for rookies to grow.

I can get a Gulden, Steele or Brayshaw type with just the two trades but it feels correct to prioritise getting in Oliver. Atkins is a better on field option than Drury and Weddle but I don't exactly need him on field.

. Similar setup here, boosts done 3 onfield rookies inc Ryan and Cincotta. 19 trades left. Your premiums are better though, great work!

Id be getting Chesser in most peoples situations, I just have held him through the whole time so isn't an option, JS is there and got a funny feeling his scoring improves the more footy he can get behind him, just needs a bit of luck with his body.
Yeah I’ve had this feeling that he potentially comes good as well. Maybe not a quick cash cow, but might hit the odd 50-60 score to push him along.

If Ginbey is forced to keep playing tired, I can’t see them stopping Chesser from playing if he’s fit.

Looks like another week away for Chesser, interesting call to make now, think Weddle leads a **** pack now hes held with CJ and a key defender coming in.

Dont see much inside time for Knevitt with the side that's named and Atkins feels pretty dodgy with Long going out with a minor injury and Weller still to come back in.

Weddle - he's had high TOG the last 2 weeks going by DFS, not inspiring though his disposal count and that was against dogs and Freo and now this week comes up against the Dees. I might just wait and watch Drury one more week.

Scratch that. Gulden instead and McKenna stays.

No movement yet. Hopefully Weddle continues the trend of Cincotta and Simpson compared to the four prior I would prefer not to name. Likely to slow down trades now with boosts gone last week and other than Drury, possibly holding until RD12. In saying that, once lockout opens Chandler and McKenna will have likely made way for Drury and mid premium.:ROFLMAO:

In need some help working through my thoughts this week and next...

Trades this week:
Redman, Greene, Jones > Tom Green, Weddle, [Atkins vs. Knevitt]

Atkins: Better scoring ability (will likely be on field)
Knevitt: JS? Scoring ok but can sit on bench.

The $40k difference however is quite big to my plans next week (I know that things will change next week, but gotta have a plan to be able to change it)

By going for Knevitt, I can get Sinclair, Walsh and Drury.
By going for Atkins, I can get Sinclair, Brayshaw/Parish (if he's fit next week) and Drury.

Obviously Walsh feels like a must have with the DPP potential, but Knevitt feels more risky than Atkins. Would love to hear some thoughts from any Geelong supports on his JS.

Note: My cash league are not playing byes, so bye structure isn't a huge factor for me, obviously still want to score well, but winning H2Hs is priority.

Considering this trade a lot now.

Out: Mckenna van rooyen and ashcroft
In: Gawn Weddle and Dawson

Of course I can get anyone in... Is Dawson a must this year? Like Oliver? I mean I could go for more value like Libba or Noah?

Means I'll be playing either Mitchell or Davey this week, which is good this week that I got Madden in the fwd line. Only rookies (not including sneeze) are Cincotta and Davey/Mitchell on the field.

Thoughts?

Team would be:
Sinclair, Naicos, Ziebell, Sicily, Young, Sneezel (Weddle Constable)
Bontempelli, Dawson, Oliver, Green, DeGoey, WDay, Hopper, Cincotta (Chesser Roberts Johnson)
Marshall, Gawn (Teakle)
Taranto, Dunkley, Rozee, Coniglio, Gulden, Mitchell (Davey, Madden)

17 trades 2 boosts 30k left

Think Dawson is a must have.
Have you got the flexibility to get gawn into Ruck line with this trade? Who's your ruck set up currently?

Anyone gonna risk bringing in Gould? lol

Any Swans supporters know any info on his JS or whether he will get a good run in the team? Or is he only playing because Tom McCartin is injured?

Seems obvious to get Oliver but the news about how far off Touk is has me reconsidering Noah Anderson. Likely to go ballistic this round, can come straight in as VC, has the golden bye, and might even hold the number 1 role if they ease Touk back in later.

Getting both him and Oliver might just be out of reach though... would require going early on say, Drury, and also sacrificing Hopper. Much as there's debate about whether to let Ashcroft go or not, Hopper is consistently about 20ppg better and isn't facing an uphill battle just to hold value this week.

Started roughly around Oliver, Atkins, 540k (I'll use Powell here for convenience but it can be any DEF or MID in that range), which would require me to give up Hopper, Ashcroft, and Callaghan. Then Drury instead of Atkins let me use Chandler instead of Hopper.

But I could instead go Anderson, Powell, Knevitt. Keeps Hopper, sets me up beautifully for the byes, 3 rookies on field, and I can have a look at two scores Friday night. I actually love it.

But no Oliver...

The other issue is it means I can't react to Marshall being a late out and I'll cop a donut. But in isolation Marshall to Gawn is not a good trade right now and I'd feel foolish if I talked myself into it and Marshall got up. I'm also hardly going to be out on my own if that does happen, Marshall in over half of all teams...

Finally a full game chance haha. Breakeven of 6 means he may not go up much.
