I still can’t believe how much time Thomas got in the middle last week over Macrae, just bewildering. Surely Bucks gives the young man more time in his natural position now that he has played a couple of games at this level?
Not this week, i can only squeeze him into the team next week.

I agree with this position as much as the next person but I hardly think "but my tips!" is a compelling argument. I'd much rather hear them talk about things like certainty for the state league teams...
"But my tips" was just a quick comment they made when they discussed this on AFL 360 the other night.

The main argument was that it takes away from the build-up and discussion about the upcoming weekends games. People used to enjoy getting the teams on a Thursday, and then could discuss all day Friday leading into the weekend with their mates and work colleagues who was in and who was out and who was going to win because of the team changes. Friday newspapers could also run their articles with talk about the games whilst knowing the teams.

Without Thursday Teams... There is a significant drop-off in chatter and buzz leading into the weekends games. I'm sure the AFL would rather the chatter and buzz, and people talking about the games.

They're not playing Collingwood, what exactly is the issue with this? Black and White stripes weren't invented by Collingwood Football Club.
No, but Eddie invented them...
I get the argument, but it’s just tedious now. Takes the focus off Bucks though - Eddie would be well aware of the distraction he’s contributing to. After what they did with the jumpers on Anzac Day as well.

Scott might be needed much more this week than past weeks for those with Martin, Rowe potentially out and "integral part of our 22" Waterman probably not back. Him being rested this round would be pretty awful.
Which Scott? Chris Scott from Geelong. Absolutely we need to rest Chris Scott from Geelong. He is the "Dementor" of the AFL Fantasy football world.

Have you heard anything on Brockman?
https://www.hawthornfc.com.au/news/922366

"He had a minor injury early in the game that hindered his ability to play out the remainder of the game. He did a couple of nice things early on."

Hawks to be going in tall this week.

Gunston returns, Emerson Jeka to debut, and Maginness into the 22.

Burgoyne and O'Meara (groin - precautionary) the known outs at the moment.

No word yet on who the other out/sub.
Found it interesting the following tweets were released this week and Jaeger doesn't even play, including one 6 hours ago...

Feel sorry for the kid, gets played as a deep fwd on debut when he is a natural wingman - poor by Bucks.

At least Macrae looks set for a 3rd game, hopefully he gets some more midfield time this week but who knows with Bucks .....
