I’m sure people have read it by now but the reason for the trade is an expecting baby and wanting to be closer to family.

Fyfe as fwd 🔒 70/30 split will still av 95-105
With Neale out of the way McCluggage 🔒(fwd eligibility?)
Lyons expensive... but has prove himself this year.
Zorko went huge with no Neale but is another year older.

McCluggage not a chance of FWD eligibility at all.

Berry, a possible chance at MID/FWD eligibility, would be a beneficiary of no Neale if he can get a run at it after a torrid year injury wise.

Bailey another who if Neale leaves you’d think sees another gradual increase in time through the middle, coupled with Rayner likely to be eased back in more as a FWD.

Fyfe was top dog at Freo when Neale left.
Not seriously suggesting there was/is anything in it, but with his age and injuries he's slowly being put out to pasture... Neale would come in as the alpha mid.
