Probably Hough to N Martin for me.

My 2c on a few issues floating around:

To those saying how good the trade boost is to allow waiting to next Rd and making 3 then, I would say do your best to avoid it. The boost will be so damn valuable during upgrade season it would be a shame to waste one unnecessarily now. More info is always good but pull the trigger on the simple ones to allow flexibility next week and lessen likelihood of needing the boost.

Brodie and Berry are tough ones because individually they seem pretty good to me but structurally they are getting in the way a bit, for those of us with Rachele, Martin, Hayes on the bench. I acknowledge there are elements of doubt over each of them (Berry shoulder and Brodie last-quarter benching plus Fyfe return) but I do think there's an element of people talking themselves into these as bigger issues because they make for 'easy' trade-outs to restructure and target more desirable trade-ins. (Which is not an unimportant consideration). But to me they both hold lots of the appeal that made them desirable picks in the first place, and I can easily see a world where they're being talked about as trade-in options next week, which is always something to think when considering outs.

Ward we should probably have another look at too, but for those without Hough or other likely dropped player, and needing to get N Martin, I think going early is rational given considerations in point 1.

On a miscellaneous note, be careful about sharing restructuring trades around these parts. They often look dodgy out of context and will almost always be advised against. But restructuring can be very important and is often painful. Often they are ones to trust your gut on.

Big watches as trade-in targets for me this week are, in order of appeal, Hewett, English, Docherty, Petracca (not a watch, just a structural thing whether I get access to him), Durdin, Mead, Tom Green, Andrew Brayshaw, Hall.

Good luck all with your deliberations. Definitely one of the funnest weeks of SC with so many options on the table and the season still stretching out appealingly to us.

This is fun

Trade 2 players , reverse changes then can update either/or of the players you are trading in or out 😀

Can only imagine the chaos once a round starts and people try and do it.

Now to play around with this Trade Boost button.

Nearly outsmarted myself.

Looks like once you use Trade Boost , the reverse changes is no longer available so you need to click on the Trade Boost player you brought in and manually trade him back to the player you traded out (or a alternative player)

Then the Reverse changes comes back into affect for your other trades.

Could actually be very confusing once the Round starts and your players are locked out before you realise it

So I wonder if once the Round starts and you hit Reverse Changes , it changes C , VC , E & bench players as well from the previous round automatically if you have made changes (assume it would) so would need to double check everything.

Might catch people out big time.

Id be very hesitant downgrading Berry or Brodie after one week just because Martin,Hayes and Rachele had a big week, not sure that's sustainable, I'd rather be batting deeper on the bench and generating the cash from all of those guys anyway.

Upgrade to trade update system
The ability to reverse all trades (of players who haven't played yet) still exists, but you will also be able to update individual trades throughout the round, whether it's for injury reasons or you just change your mind.
If you trade West Coast forward Jack Darling out, and he plays Friday night, but on Sunday, your replacement St Kilda's Jade Gresham is a late withdrawal, you can now switch Gresham to a player who has not yet played in that round.
Previously, the trade would have been locked in once Darling's team had played.
The move allows for greater flexibility for trading throughout the round.
Also, if neither player in your trade is locked mid-round, then you can complete the trade in reverse to back to what it was, without the cost of a valuable trade.

Sideways trading is normally frowned upon, correction trading is good play!

Might have been a glitch on my end.

2 trades , Trade Boost , changed C & E then the "Undo Changes" appeared

I guess it is up to people to play around with it between rounds so they can get used to it and see how it all works

Obviously once the Round starts and players are locked out it becomes more complex.

Just need to triple check VC , C & E are still what you want them to be (already read this round people missing E scores of a 💯+ because they hadn't checked if they had set all their E's properly)

Great points regarding restructuring. I think I might have to bite the bullet on a restructure/sideways trades depending on a few things this week. I currently don’t have Rachele which could be a big problem come next week if he puts up another solid score.

Treloar to Cripps/English is something I’m looking at depending on their score/role and how reliable Preuss/Hayes at R2 are.

Great post and was thinking exactly this when the round ended.

I would much rather make 1 trade this week and 2 next week - instead of doing nothing this week and wasting a boost with 3 trades next week.
