Some doubt around Setterfields fitness still.

Thoughts on English & Setters versus Grundy and LDU
I'm keen to go D Cameron to Grundy, and JHF to LDU.
Was just set on Cameron to English but the last 2 times he's entered my team I've managed to break him. (3 games in a row, can't be far away)
Every chance Grundy goes 140+ this week against WC, and possibly the last time we see LDU under 600k.

Thought on joel amartey? Seems to be second ruck. Score 78 last week with 3 behinds. A good stepping stone? Can swap him for menzie.

Is Worpel/Pou to Phillips/JZ wasteful? Plan when fading JZ last week was to get him this week after a rise, but now I'm wondering if it's worth cutting two potentially good cows for JZ when we've already got Daicos, Doch and potentially even Sheezel D1-3. Can't have too many passengers with Sicily, Stewart, Dawson, Sinclair all hanging around.

Does good things for my team in the short term as I'm already 5 forwards deep + Sheezel. So Cogs goes mid and I can loop Phillips/Mackenzie M8 with Chesser.

However the alternative is keeping the Worpel cash for a Tom Stewart or other premo next week. Or updating my trade to back Worpel in, and cut Chesser instead.

Have only done one trade so far: Cameron to English. Can't see any others I need to make, but feel as though I need to be a bit more aggressive to climb back from a poor start. Then again, that poor start was mostly bad luck. Any suggestions:

Starting to wonder how important Phillips or Bytel might be, but I can't see anyone, outside Constable - think I'll have to pass. All the rookies bar Constable are making money. No one way swing to bring either in for Constable. Only option would be Greene or Menzie. Can't see how I make it work, which probably means I shouldn't.

Would have a stacked forward line if I brought either in and swung Gulden forward, but then Ziebell could go back... then there's JVR...

I'll just stop now. Rookies always seem to be in abundance when and where you don't need them. And Long Weekends are SC danger periods.

Who is Rat?

(I love the name of your team by the way: gives me a chuckle every time I read it for some reason. Very evocative. Don't know if it's your humour or my mine.)

Goater to Crozier or Bergman? Crozier seems like a spike score waiting to happen, which is not unreasonable but will he be worth the extra $50k?

Or use two trades to move to Bowes? (Not as sold on this one.)

I wouldn't go Bowes after the inclusion of Stewart last week.

Nah I'm not sure on Bowes, I actually traded him to NDaicos in RDT this week.

Rat = Ratugolea

The team name is a bit undergrad but it has served me well. I started using it around 2011/12 when Daniel Talia won the Rising Star. The best part was watching the Herald Sun grapple with it when they had to post my team name in the hard copy of the paper. It made it to print once in 2013 when I was sitting in the top 5 before the editors realised. The following week it got shortened to Big Jenny and then just BJT

Either of you have any opinion on Bergman vs Crozier (or anyone I haven't considered) then? ;)
If you have to get a defender in that price range I would choose Buckley, if you can afford him, or Young Crozier is too inconsistent, and Bergman hasn't showed a great deal. Otherwise I would try and use DPP to get a Midfielder instead like Phillips, etc

Can't afford Buckley, and Young worries me that he's only got a couple of price rises in him otherwise he's the obvious candidate at his price.
