Out of curiosity - how have some of the coaches with Jokic managed to fit him into their squads? I’m couldn’t fit him in without playing an extra rookie and/or being stuck with a bunch of 10mil mid rangers

I generally have a plan coming to the season with rd2 and rd3 teams in mind including captains
picking players with good early season structure
I held JJ this week because i needed his structure and i would have held morant for 3 weeks too had he not been out injured
Always had a plan for Joker coming in, but went against my inital plans for wemby too in favour of tatum for $$
doesnt look great after 1 game but we'll see where it is at rd4 points and $$

Edey the only real misfire on field
swapped Trae for Morant when i realised i had 3 hawks on field with JJ & Risacher (too much exposure to one team)
then last minute moves to get Risacher to bench required some cash
so swapped Lamelo for Cunningham but didnt think to switch Morant back to Trae who i initially preferred
see how it pans out end of week 3 as both have 3/4/4
sucks seeing Lamelo fire but he was only ever a 1 week play with Harden

Was just having a look back at couple of my pre planned week 2 teams.
Ins Wemby, Jokic, Doncic and 1x rookie fix/Braun
(potential Harden hold if he got off to a flying start and $$ could be made)
All plans leaned heavily towards rookies being reliable on field to get big dogs in though

Gonna have to crunch numbers end of round
$20mill+ player 120+ score
$5mill rookie 40-60 score
vs
$15mill 70-100 score
$10mill 60-90 score

I have Risacher, Hawkins, **** and Braun on field to accommodate Joker this round.

Yeah Dyson over Braun for me was just purely unlucky. Can never predict injuries, Denver's lack of depth is really benefitting Braun!

Felt it was a very strange decision to sign Westbrook. Not noted as an outside shooter or smart with his shot selection so tough to understand what the point was when you could get a three and d, etc type option on a minimum contract. Lack of bench depth looks to be a byproduct of the recent extension and big contracts to the likes of Porter Jr, etc.

It is sure, but he was signed during the season we got Aaron Gordon and started to really take off. Think we won 10 of 11 or something until Jamal did his ACL just before the playo***. Who knows if they would've won a chip earlier.

It's a lot harder to build a "superteam" with the current CBA, they had a core 4 they believed in and were proved to be right. Just a few decisions of the supplement players have been poor. But don't forget the o***eason that got KCP and Bruce while offloading Monte and Barton was a home run. Time will tell

Wild day so far. D*ck popping off has been great. That disparity in the FT count for Cavs/Lakers is a complete joke.

Pacers still matchup against the Celtics well. Cade and Ivey leading the Pistons to their first win

Yep, no chance at all of a good result with just 21 weeks to go and the variability in scoring in this.

Been a decent day for me.

Tatum with a big 2nd half and decent OT. Ivey same wrt 2nd half. Risacher battled to 20 and Banchero was solid. Cam Thomas average to poor but ill take it. Wemby and Scoot playing & to come respectively. Dyson Daniels out is a little annoying as the other options i considered are doing much better - main one i liked being Braun. I do wonder if Scoot will ever end up making his way into the starting 5? I dont really mind because he is still playing decent minutes.
