Why are people looking at fading Nick Daicos early?

KFC SUPERCOACH START 2024

• The KFC SuperCoach AFL season will begin in round 1, and not in Opening Round.
• Opening Round stats will be taken into account for price changes and live scoring in some form will be available to SC Plus subscribers during the four matches.
• It will best 18 scoring for all bye rounds, including the two-team bye weekends in rounds 2, 3, 5 and 6.
• Any changes in the number of allocated trades will be confirmed in January, along with full gameplay details for 2024.

I think a lot of teams will also have Grundy miss round 5 as well so I don't think people would want to have too many of their guns miss the same round, may want to have a more even spread of your guns on byes to help with your scoring during the early byes (also likely to be tagged against Hawks by Magginess and maybe by the Swans before his bye)? This is the reason I'm looking at getting him in as my 1st upgrade ASAP after his round 5 bye.

Steep starting price point for Merrett should work wonderfully for the annual trade in around the byes for approx $550,000/sub $550,000 for a 115-120+ to finish the season.

So there's no point picking a squad until round 1.

Not sure I'm a fan of this - so we'll get to see some rookies play before we even need to lock them in along with premiums - going to make for some very similar teams in round 1.

Unless Grundy drops an 80 vs Gawn!

Might only end up being 20 or 30 points down on that bye to have one of the best players in the comp who is underpriced due to the Round 21 injury, I'm likely to start guys like that personally.

Yeah, but the rnd 0 scores will count towards BE's and those teams that play rnd 0 will have byes in rnds 2-3-5-6

You would assume so with round 0 not being counted and the SC season starting in rnd 1

The SC season starts round 1. So we have unlimited trades to do what we like with our team up until the beginning of the last match of round 1.

Early byes should atleast be easier to navigate with the potential for rookies to still be around.

Two team byes will probably have 26+ players available.
