I must have switched off late in the season , going through the lists , quite a few rookies must have played last season that I missed

Hustwaite another one I didn't realise played.

Long way out , but could almost run a premium + speculative defence with Chapman , Williams price type + the rookies.

Spend up big in the mids.

Longer kicking - Jayden Short could be interesting?

Averaged basically 98 for 4 years running, already ranked #9 of this year’s defenders.

Played out of position in 2022 and at times in 2023.

Quite interested in others’ thoughts on this. I currently have him over someone like a Bont.

I note that while Trac seemed to benefit from Oliver missing, he also had his lowest CBA percentage in at least four years.

Petracca has put on even more muscle this yr and is super quick I seen him dodge macdonald then run around langdon he is in for some year regardless of clarry

I dont think much changes, its not like he was really a permanent midfielder without Clarry was starting plenty of games essentially out of the square and still dominating, I think he became a more complete footballer moreso than took advantage of the omission personally.

Can't really look at Petracca too seriously with the early bye. Without that he'd warrant a very serious look.

I have high hopes for Special K, the delivery into the forwards is improving but it's not great.

I think you should run a bit more data on this. I recall some well dated data analysis (long before covid) that the variation in Ultra Premo mids is higher than Ultra Premo Defenders. My current draft has 3 ultra premo defenders for this reason (but rookie availability will ultimately probably push one out).
