Just watched the Lions-Packers game which was a fantastic tussle. Concerned about St. Brown however. This will be the third week in a row he has scored less than 20. There were a lot of snaps where he was not even running a target route. He just blocked or was used as a decoy. With a dominant pair of RB and Williams and now Patrick taking some of the passing action I think I might consider trading him before he loses too much value. If the numbers worked out might get enough cash out of the trade to get Mixon.

Yeah, it's a worry.
It seems to me that Detroit have been so dominant that they are at the stage of expanding their repertoire - at least in terms of pass catchers.
They don't want opponents to just lock in on Brown and no-one else. They know what he can do, now it's "lets see what the others can do". Give opponents more to worry about.
Their next three are tough: Buffalo, SF and Chicago. It'll be interesting to see the targets in those.
I think Brown is their best WR and maybe, just maybe, they are saving him for when he's really needed.
As I have him in both my draft teams and RDT I certainly hope so.
He's way down on targets and yards compared to the last two years:
2024: 98 targets - 863 yds
2023: 164 targets - 1,515 yds
2022: 146 targets - 1,161 yds

Further to the above:
who would expect a 31 yo Tim Patrick to get more targets than Brown and get 2 x TDs?
After only 12 x TDs in his previous 66 games: 11 with Detroit and 55 (over 6 seasons) with Denver!
There were a number of times when the Lions were in the red zone and I am pretty sure Brown was not even on the ground. That is why Patrick got his TD's. It looked like Brown was not even in Goff's progressions on a number of plays.

I think St Brown went in with a knee injury as well. On one of his very few targets he got up wincing after being tackled. That may be part of the lack of targets.
They also did a lot of running rather than throwing.

If you have Netflix I can recommend Untold Story Sign Stealer. Doco about Connor Stalion who was a sign stealer for Michigan. As a result of what happened at Michigan in the 2023/24 college season they introduced in helmet communications for on field players this year and got rid of the need for sign callers. He was certainly committed to the cause.

My "vc" options this week are Hurts or Barkley.
I'm going with Hurts again.
No real conviction but I figure that after 3 poor scores as vc/c he's got to come good some time.
Hopefully I won't need a "c". If I do it'll probably be Chase.

Be warned

It appears half my WR are questionable this week. (Nabers, McConkey, Pickens)
Thinking of selling Nabers if I can't field 6 players. I think he is the most likely to be rested as Giants don't have anything to play for.
Have $14 million to spend. Thinking about getting in Jefferson, Jeudy, Evans (depending on calf/hamstring) or Westbrook-Ikhine.
But leaning towards Jefferson.
Thoughts?

Pickens is OUT...McConkey is still in doubt...but Nabers is active... so keep Nabers for sure... your choice between the other 2 BoL Kazza;)

Bucky Irving (back) doubtful to return Sunday

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (back) is doubtful to return against the Raiders.
Analysis: Irving was dealing with a back injury leading up to Week 14 and appears to have re-aggravated the injury during the game. He tallied three rushing yards on four attempts and caught his lone target for 15 yards prior to the injury.

I've stuck with Hurts (47) as well, and I'm pleased that he has finally scored well.

Yep.
No complaints. My back-up QB Darnold had 68 - which I am very happy with. As he scored 18 the last time I had to use him there was no way I was going to "vc" him.

For those thinking of trading Amon-Ra, take note of Jefferson's score.
He managed a 57 today after 26, 7, 22 and 14 in his previous four games.
Not saying Amon-Ra will do that but it is the sort of thing the better WRs do.
