What a difference one trade can make.
Rnd.11 and I needed a QB to cover the byes and had a choice between Hurts and Allen.
Hurts looked the obvious choice:
he'd had his bye, Allen hadn't
he was averaging roughly 5ppg more than Allen
he had a very good SOS compared to Allen.

Since then:
Hurts: 146 points in 4 games - and a bad c/vc result in 3 games
Allen: 207 points in 3 games - and a decent c/vc result in two and a superb c/vc in the third
Still 4 games to go and Hurts has by far the better SOS but atm it's hurting

Imagine if they get their act together and actually play better than their opponents in a game. They will be unbeatable! Or will karma catch up with them in a Championship game and they lose in the final seconds. That karma is a strong mother

If they don't lose a game before their finals they will lose in the finals. They are not really winning but they are not beating their opponents. Their opponents are beating themselves. Hopefully that comment is understandable.

So.... could we also interpret that as - KC are playing rubbish and still managing to win somehow so imagine what happens if they get their act together and start playing well? It is generally acknowledged that even though they won the SB last season they played below their previous benchmark best. Mahomes is a magician so KC could conjure up anything pre season IMO.

Thanks - I was going to comment on it.
I'm hoping for karma - it offends my sense of "right" when a team playing as poorly (on offence) as the Chiefs can be 11-1.

But I'd stll give them a 50:50 chance at the SB.
They look almost certain to get the 1st week bye and home-field advantage in the play-o***.
These one score, last second, wins go back to last year's play-o***
One score wins in the Division 27-24 and 17-10 Championship then last second OT in the SB.
Down 16-19 with 1.53 to go and they tie it up with a FG with 3 sec on the clock.
In OT their defence does it's job, keep SF to a FG, and Mahomes goes 8/8 for a TD.
I can see them/him doing it again .

Geez, Cincinatti need to get their defence sorted out. They have a SB calibre QB and WR's but just can't seem to stop their opponents. They are literally throwing away a golden opportunity with Burrows, Chase and Higgins if they don't sort it out next year.

597. Slightly annoyed at myself for being lazy and keeping Rams DEF on the field instead of SF. Given their respective matchups, i definitely wouldve liked SF on field but i didnt take a look at my team for a few days and then it was too late! Thats 34 points left on the table but otherwise i was fairly happy with my side. I had quite a few out with injuries/the bye as well so to nearly hit 600 was great - even though i must acknowledge it was a high scoring round. Who would've thought that i could have my captain score 75 and still have left 28 points on the table. That Allen performance was one for the ages :O

Anyway, 10M in the kitty and 3 trades left. WIll see what i can come up with to hopefully push top 100...though it might be a tough proposition!
