LDU vs Zerrett?

Both have pretty nice draws;
- zerrett the clear number 1 dons mid who a tagger will go to, but has the previous history
- LDU may be clear of the tag given teams not really trying too hard against north and has tagee competition in sheez and wardlaw
For what it’s worth, I’m getting both this week. LDU’s run home is very good compared to lots of other midfield premos in terms of tag risk. The fact he has Sheezel there helps him as he isn’t the clear tagging option. Merrett has always been relatively poor with handling tags although he did okay against Cincotta after the first quarter. In their non-tagged games I expect Merrett to beat LDU, but I also expect Merrett to be tagged more.

LDU plays (in order):
Melbourne: Neal-Bullen tagged Daicos but usually don’t tend to tag.
Bulldogs: Don’t tag.
Gold Coast: Don’t tag.
Sydney: Use Jordon to tag but I think he would Sheezel instead. Usually goes to outside mids/HBs.
Carlton: Cincotta probably goes to one of LDU or Sheezel. Don’t believe Cincotta has tagged a bigger body like LDU yet though.
Geelong: Potentially O’Connor or Blicavs pay some attention?
Richmond: Don’t tag.
West Coast: Sheed played on him for the first half last time I believe and did a decent job.
Bulldogs: Don’t tag.
Hawthorn: Maginness probably tags one of him and Sheezel if he plays. If not, Nash probably runs with LDU.

Luke Jackson or Charlie Curnow?
I am leaning towards Jackson as he also give ruck coverage but Curnow can have those massive highs also lows. 🤔

Any changes now that LDU has been nursing some injuries?

Merrett is probably the safer play now. Always a worry when these types of things pop up. Would hate to trade someone in at 610k who goes at half pace and averages 100-105 and loses you points on your competition each week.

Personally, I’m trying to decide whether I go LDU or Neale now. Career trends say LDU storms home and Neale fades. Neale also prone to tags which are becoming the norm recently. Sometimes these types of midweek injuries that are apparently ‘all clear’ just linger and you can play through them but they severely impact point scoring and other times it makes absolutely no impact.

23rd Premo to free up players to cover other lines:

Zorko (Highest scoring fwd I don't already own)
v
Jackson (Provides better ruck cover than Kreuger)

If you can cover all lines in either scenario, I think it would have to be Zorko unless you really couldn’t handle him copping an injury, or were punting on Darcy getting an LTI.

More of a question on who to trade out for Zerret - Dawson vs Steele?

Leaning towards Dawson decause of his higher trade-in price and low floor in scoring this season, but I know once I do he is going to pop off.
