Serong & Parker v W Ashcroft & Rankine?

Serong and Parker for mine. Ashcroft could elevate his scoring but I just can’t bring myself to trust Rankine’s injury history and there seems to be an abundance of guys who are meant to be playing midfield for the crows, so my preference is to actually see how that unfolds and then make a call.
Serong looks very strong for top 3-4 mids and I think Parker can serve a useful role in the early 3rd of the season before being upgraded.

Dawson VS Steele +better bye is one I’ll no doubt get wrong.

Same crows midfield concerns for Dawson as posted above with Rankine, but also a quick skim of Steele backs my hunch that he usually starts seasons quite well, so I’d go with Steele.

Neither tbh, I like Serong most of this lot. Not overly keen on Parker. Ashcroft has upside but think there’s better options at his price. I see Rankine as more of an upgrade target with the abundance of value in the forward line as well.
