I'm not saying Paris is a worldbeater, but I know the Scorchers set-up loves him, and have always picked him where they can (Langer was a big fan, so he might have lost a supporter.
One thing we do know is that the Scorchers are extremely unpredictable in their team selection. Which is always the case with a side that has half a dozen all-rounders / bit part players.

But it would be easy to see Whiteman come in (another golden boy) come in to open, shift Bancroft to 4 and drop one of the quicks (Paris or Kelly).
