They could be in even more pain if Gregory is in the Squad for Sri Lanka , reports I have seen have them taking 18-22 players.

Their side didn't look inspiring even when Banton , Gregory , Morkel & Mujeeb were going to be available.

Something not right with their setup.

They might have to bring McCullum out of retirement 😀

ECB might be worried about the remaining 5 players in South Africa as well going straight to the Indian series after BBL , might try and give them a break somewhere along the line.
How much of their salary cap is Lynn taking up? It's got to be a lot if they couldn't even hang on to Renshaw. I thought finally getting rid of Cutting's incredibly inconsistent batting and consistently bad bowling was a good move, but Wildermuth and Cooper (essentially Gades rejects) aren't likely to make much of a difference.

Hes not batting any higher than 5 and He's never bowled with enough regularity to be relying on it to score.
I feel like the scoring changes make picking players who you aren't sure will regularly bowl 3+ overs and/or face 20+ balls a bit of a waste of time. This makes me worry a bit about Wildermuth as well, he's never really had the game to impact as a lower order hitter in T20s and has been hit out of the attack after 2 overs fairly often too.

Update SC scores after second innings from Tasmanian Prem:

Format = First innings score + second innings score = Total score. I have already explained how the first innings points were made in a previous post, so will only explain scores for second innings.

Faulkner 110 + 93 = 203. Figures of 2-19(4) in 2nd innings. 15 dot balls (15), 2 wides (-2), 2 wickets (40), economy of 4.75 (20), 2 catches (20)

Ellis 97 + 68 = 165. Scored 48(31) batting at 5 in 2nd innings. 48 runs (48), strike rate 0f 154.8 (20)

McDermott 10 + 0 = 10. Scored 0(2) in 2nd innings, dismissed by Faulkner.

Mac Wright 0 + 4 = 4. Scored 4(9) in 2nd innings, dismissed by Faulkner.

Tim David 102 + 24= 126. Figures of 0-21(4) in 2nd innings. 9 Dot balls (9), Economy of 5.25 (15)

Riley Meredith 33 + 0 = 33. DNB second innings.
2nd match: Faulkner VS Glenorchy
49 runs from 34 balls
3 overs for 1/21

I would have thought you would have been in one of the SCS leagues?!
Did you put in for a league? I hope @Goodie's Guns didn't miss you if you did?
Yes I have you on my list of members who were late to sign up but will be put into a league.

Planning to setup and send out tomorrow.

Sorry have been flat out with work and cricket the last couple of days, and was awaiting for enough numbers for another full league to get compiled.

Brisbane dont have a good enough attack not to use him and he's been smoking the ball in grade cricket, feels like the perfect Cutting replacement to me, honestly think hell end up one of the better cheap options.

People's thought on T Cooper please - Re: Bryant, Hughes, Turner, Wildermuth

Really depends where he slots in, the guy averaged 63 in BBL06 when he had a significant role at the Renegades and feel like hes very similar to Renshaw who scored very well last year at the Heat, wait for their final side and if hes named in the top 4 hes probably an absolute bargain to be honest.

(y)I've been thinking that also. I had him down at 5 when Banton was playing. 4 days to go!

They'll need spin overs out of Cooper and Lawrence their 2 available spinners are both largely unproven in Kuhnemann and Wood with Swepson with the Aus Squad and Ur Rahman in quarantine, think both will be pretty good value early on.
