Yeah I bet! That 40 mins between squads and lockout is hectic as!
Absolutely. In AFL the trades are for much longer periods as well, with teamsheets making much less difference to role. It’s naturally less pressured/reactive.

I reckon we could almost create a shopping list for upgrade targets by position, and just confirm which one you were running with (based on BE, form, role etc) round by round.

Just doing my loops as well and have very similar.

I’m considering fielding Marnus and Eing Head, just in case Head goes low with the bat and doesn’t bowl. Head will seemingly be higher ownership I think.

[Head will probably have decent opportunity to bowl with that attack, but Marnus historically bowls around 3 overs a game in recent seasons.]
Should have done the same. Head a bit of a dud pick today :(

I guess we switch Connolly with Kerr and on field to take Marnus’ score.

It’s probably worth switching Wade to BAT, so that we end up with Lynn over Carey if Wade misses. I think we could actually take Kerr in that scenario, which would be much better than Carey on average.

3/63 before any loops. Nobody in the second game tonight.

I think we will not be looping Carey or Lynn on field. Marnus is probably worth looping on (assuming Connolly doesn't play). If we do, do we bench Tye, Abbott or Ellis?

Captain - do we take the 50 from VC Short, or take someone from tomorrow as C? Generally think we would risk getting a sub-50 score from a different captain, tough choice who we choose. 50 is not terrible though, if that's the preferred option.

Maybe we could run a poll for C (including Short)?

Edit: Switched Wade to BAT as per suggestion above.

My take would be:

- Definitely pick another C. 50 is a below par score for a regular player, let alone the captain. We also have c. 7 live options that average more than this.

- Take Marnus’ 66.

- Bench Ellis unless someone thinks he’s got a great matchup. His form has been improving from a low base, but he’s a level below Tye and especially Abbott over his career to date.

Yep I agree with all of these!
