1005 Overton

Lynn 123 (124)
Thornton 106 (153)
Overton C 68x2 (71x2)
Bethell 67 (69)
Rogers 64 (130)
Zampa 60 (103)
O.Pope 47 (48)
Sutherland 24 (66)

Lynn with a great knock today. Was well underpriced on what he ‘could’ do, but hadn’t shown any form whatsoever and his dismissal against Perth in game 1 was shocking. Took the punt, paid off. Thornton, Overton and Rogers all great with the ball. Bethell’s role was much better today, a little unlucky to not pick up 1-2 more (LBW/dropped catch) but hopefully the Renegades use him a bit more now. Zampa continuing to bowl in the surge again. Don’t like it, but it paid off this time. Pope with lots of points keeping, got demoted from the opening spot this game. Sutherland no good.

This time last night I was looking at getting below par, by a sizeable amount too. Now I should get a pretty nice jump. Didn’t expect a whole lot tonight with the 2 teams on the double facing each other but I got very lucky with the points distribution.
Um what? Was 100th and hoped to jump up to maybe that 50-60th range. Somehow 17th!!

Would 4 thunder be enough for the DGR… not many more I want. Currently traded in Wes Agar and Chaudhary, debating whether to get a little loop for bazley, as currently don’t have loop for the bat line… who would be a good 37k loop

4/489 Overton - 12 SI

3 scores < 10 with O. Pope dropping out.

Bringing Stoinis back into my side for Prestwidge was a stroke of luck!

SGR players - 329 - 4 SI (82.25 PSI)
DGR players - 160 - 8 SI (20 PSI)

Make sense of that?
Didn't fair as favourably as some tonight, after being in a reasonable position last night

857 - Overton - 7/368 tonight :(

Was on 807 at the innings break, but then Lynn took over and only scored 50 points in the Adelaide innings...

Was originally at 11 DGR players at the beginning of the round, then ended up with 8, with Bazely only playing one game, M Short missing, and Zampa stuck on the bench, due to Prestwidge playing

SGR - 329 for 82.25 PSI
DGR - 528 for 33 PSI

I heard 4-6 being mentioned as a reasonable range, and I think that’s about right.

If you don’t like the 5th best one you can reasonably afford, I think 4 is okay - especially if you have good all rounder types around them.

833 and surprisingly went up in the ranks, however, I made a couple of frustrating decisions this round.

1. When I saw that Short was out I traded him to Lynn, but then I saw Pope come out to open and changed to him at the last second, really wish I had just missed that lockout;
2. Picking JFM over Brown (felt like a 50/50 decision); and
3. Trading out Stoinis instead of Walter to get Owen's score.

I also feel that my team is in a poor position because of earlier decisions, such as starting Shaw over Doran and trading in Davies instead of Turner in round 2.

Feel as if my team is a bit of a mess, but we'll see what we can do to recover.
