Does anybody remember a couple of months ago when a member posted a link to a website where the user typed in the name of the supercoach team and it showed how many trades that team had left? Stupidly forgot to bookmark it at the time.

Pretty strong but not foolproof position. No obviously dud premos playing last week, although seems to have Stef Martin over Goldstein which hopefully will turn into a negative POD. Also has Rich but presumably will upgrade him this week. Shiel the other slightly sub-elite premium playing for him last week, but if he's M8 it's probably a pretty sound pick.

Interestingly the top two have put a bit of a gap on third (126 between 1st and 3rd) so if they happen to have down weeks this week the top could bunch up a bit again. Here's hoping.

What do people think is the furthest you can be behind the leader once the byes are finished to still have a chance? 300 points?

PS this reminded me to check on the team that saved all its trades in the first 7 rounds - Bingo Bongo. Currently in 1944th position. Think we can chalk that one up to aggressive trading over trade-saving when going for overall.

This is how i read it as well but why not, you don't lead the pack too often unless you're aps1

Haven't seen his/her team though but it's a pretty strong position to be in. There'd be a few in the chasing pack with a few extra trades in hand though. A bit of carnage and he might find himself caught late.

Given he went up by 4 positions to No.1, expect he just got overexcited.

What would be interesting is what do people think of his position, team, trades and cash position. Unless someone is in league with him, we will not know full team or best 22 until rnd 16 completed.

Looks like he loses 6 premiums this week incl Rich. Has Barlow as well in that group. Hasnt brough Phillips in yet although no obvious trade out target in best 18 from last week given menadue going up in value.

Just as a quick comparison, I'm 9 spots (and 249 points) behind him...however I have 2 more trades up my sleeve than he does so I think I may be in with a shot of running him down (especially if he has Barlow )
