Not having a go at you mate, I'm all for critical thinking but that study you quoted is from 1993 and I don't think it was ever tested on humans from what I read.
My current understanding (not from just watching the news having a trawl online) is that there is no vaccine for SARS or MERS (types of Coronavirus) that can be safely and widely used right now on humans. Or any universal Coronavirus vaccine for that matter. COVID-19 is related to SARS.
Research is ongoing but a vaccine seems to be at least 12-18 months away that can be circulated for widespread use.

every other major sporting body/code in the world has cancelled/postponed/suspended yet the AFL thinks they are above all of them ? and defying the Government.
I think they will look even worse off if they start and then having to cancel after 1-2 rounds.
Easter is supposed to be a bad time, May to July even worse
not sure what time the Players Association meeting is today with all the players, but can't seeing them agreeing to play, no idea what will happen to player payments etc etc

Just a reminder for everyone that usually signs up for the SuperCoach Stats Season Pass on SuperCoach... That this year it is auto-renewing on Friday 20th March. Previously you had to sign up each season but last year it changed to an auto-renewing setting.
Go to your subscriptions page and email them if you want to stop it from auto-renewing.

The teamsheets are going to be interesting for Carlton v Richmond on Thursday night. I can’t wait to see what they look like...
While the players are 100% committed to the game going ahead, they have asked to be able to choose their own respective positions. For example
(Def) now stands for ‘Are you kidding?I’m defs not playing’
(C) stands for ‘CVD19, do I need to say anymore? and ciao’
(Fol) now means ‘Follow me out of here, but not too closely!’
(Fwd) now stands for ‘Forward my spot in the team to some other player.’
(Emergency) speaks for itself, but also means ‘for the first time I’m actually quite glad to have this spot and not be a late in’
On a side note…
I heard on the radio this morning that sharing a laugh about coronavirus was a good way of both minimising anxiety and keeping in it together during these awfully tough times. So, if you didn’t find the above funny, force yourself to laugh to boost your immune system!

Yeah I agree, I just remembered late last night about it, so emailed to cancel this morning, I imagine there is a ton of people who subscribed to SC Gold last year that have no idea it's automatically renewing in a few days time.
The practice should be outlawed.
The best way the HS could deal with this is to make it free for everyone for whatever happens this season.... Won't happen though.
