I've kept one Scheffler in the bag, hopefully he comes through.
I've got Scheffler in my team too. I'm expecting we might have fairly similar teams with the small field, guess we will see later tonight. I did save a usage of a couple of the bigger names for this last event.

I also have Bobby Jones, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods in my team so you'd better watch it.

Not sure if you're aware Frosty but if you click on 'Rules' on the main page and scroll down, you can see the whole year's schedule all there before you, could even print it out maybe next year? I've found in the past it's handy to plan it on paper if you have the time and or inclination :)
Yeah I knew it was there, just didn't print it, and assumed I knew, but assumed wrong.

Managed to keep a Rahm and a McIlroy up my sleeve, but just stuffed the Sheffler.

I feel like I've been learning a bit, and have been more engaged in the PGA Tour and the various blogs and podcasts than recent years, so I count that as a good thing.

I think you'd be right up there Frosty, maybe even on top if you didn't just miss that one tournament, very strong finish.

Big congrats to Ironhawk for winning the year overall, well done mate, I just couldn't reel you in no matter how hard I tried... and here's your cheque for 18 million dollars, oh no sorry, that goes to Viktor Hovland for winning the Fed Ex Cup! lucky bugger

Thanks. The fact we finished with the same four golfers in the last event made it a bit of an anti-climax. Great comeback though, you had me worried towards the end of the season, after I thought it was wrapped up.

Well done Ironhawk. Great season. Actually really enjoyed trying to keep track of the PGA tour season. Something that I hadn't really don't since my old man left this mortal coil a few years back. Also surprised me how often I had the winner on my list. Now I just want to get out and have a game. (let's hope the physio can actually fix my shoulder).

How long to the new season? Hopefully we can get a few more to have a crack next year.

Looks like it'll be a bit of a wait mate, it's going back to January again like it used to be, starting with the Sentry and Sony open in Hawaii, it finishes up with the Tour Championship ending Sept 1st.
I'll remind people before the first event and try to recruit some newbies to bump up the league numbers.

Hey guys, apparently the 2024 season starts in January in Hawaii but there's this part of the year coming up called the Fedex Cup Fall....
This article should explain how it works.....
Fedexcup Fall : How it works ( find it in news on the PGA tour page) tried to post the link but it didn't work

Not sure if the new season's league starts from then or not but if it does, it'll be from the Fortinet Championship starting this month.
I'll keep an eye out for how the Fantasy aspect works for this Fedexcup Fall period and let you know.
Basically it means we're either starting the new season in about 7 days or not until January.

This message appears on the PGA Tour homepage too so we might have to be ready to go in a week or so...
The 2023-24 PGA TOUR Fantasy Golf season will begin at the Fortinet Championship on Sept. 8th. Check back on September 5th after the Field is released to set your season schedule and lineup
