LITS, let's just say all four of Waterman, Ryan, Venables and Rioli are fit and named round 1 and JJK is out for 4-6 weeks, in what order would you rank the four of them for our starting teams?

Ryan for JS, then Venables, then Rioli cause could break down again, then Waterman cause he's a key forward in an average side.

I reckoned that Waterman looked the best of the quartet during the JLT.

Yeah I have to agree, Ryan should play the whole season barring injury. Venables is rated highly uses the ball well and puts on great pressure... Should see a lot of games this year as he gives us something we lack... Just nneds to find more of the pill. Rioli totally comes down to injuries... When fit he adds a fair bit to the side but just keeps picking up these niggling injuries. Waterman comes in last just for the simple fact we don't know exactly what is going on with JK. He needs 3 games to get 1 price rise so we would be wanting to know more about JK before selecting him. But I do see him as a good 2nd tall forward option heading into the future.

I hesitate in posting this a bit considering the source, But Kim Hagdorn was just on the radio here in Perth, And claims Josh Kennedy is in hospital with some sort of problem relating to his foot issue, with it possibly not healing as well as the club hoped. He was struggling to find out exact details of the concern... But thinks it might keep him out a bit longer than thought.

Now everyone knows my thoughts on the source, When Kennedy hurt is elbow a couple of seasons ago, Hagdorn pretty much reported that Kennedy needed his arm amputated, Yet he missed just 1 game and never had any issues with it again. So take anything he says with a HUGE dose of salt.

If it is true and JK misses more time, then Jake Waterman should get a real good shot at it..............”
Or Fraser McInnes?

Thanks mate, no need to change my current setup then. :)

Or Fraser McInnes?
No, I believe the only way McInnes gets a game is if Nic Nat misses.

He is way way down the pecking order in my opinion. In fact I don't think he will last past this season on the list.

Waterman is the future, and was very close to getting a game last year. He has performed well in the pre-season and deserves his chance. We also have Jarrod Brander coming through who has really impressed me. It's harsh, but McInnes is really a break glass in case of emergency type player.

Aaron Hall will miss round one with a broken thumb. Details soon on @AFLcomau
10:55 AM - Mar 16, 2018

Bad news for Hall and all of his family and friends and all the Gold Coast supporters but couldn't hurt Holman and Brodie's round 1 chances.
much better :)

G

GoGeta

I prefer Ryan to Fogarty for the JS.
Yeah he is up in the air at the moment, a lot pending on further reading leading up to R1.
If it looks like Tex walks back in and there is no spot for him anywhere we can't really start him, he is a bit of the place holder at the moment
but i will jump on any other rook that pops up between now and lockout as i really don't want any WC rookies bar T.Cole. Saw something about Ainsworth being a bolter somewhere haven't heard anything since.

Literally lol (not at Hall's unfortunate injury if it wasn't obvious!)

Sounds like it could be a one weeker, so could be a bit of a trap although i do feel Brodie's JS is pretty good.
