I think Viney is being judged a bit harshly. I read he got tagged by Curnow in his last game. Burgess seems to have whipped Melbourne into shape. Viney, Oliver and Petracca looking like the preferred mids. I still think he can be a good value M7 or M8 and I can see more value in upgrading elsewhere for the moment.

Thank you for this. Was considering trading him as this could be his price peak and his purpose in my team was a cash grab, but it does feel wrong trading him.

In between all this Covid news I was thinking a little bit about football.
Jack Steele did a great job on Cripps. He denied him that first touch of the ball and then moved away to become an option for his team mates. Cripps problem is if he doesn't get that first touch he then starts chasing a ball that is moving away from him.
