One of my favourite bands growing up was Split Enz. I have followed their various members journeys post the band.
My favourite Split Enz song
Founding Split Member member Phil Judd also got fame with his one hit wonder band The Swingers.
Two of the band members Neil Finn and Paul Hester (and later, Tim Finn) went on to greater fame with Crowded House, who I lost count how many times I saw them play around Melbourne in my Uni days.
Post Split Enz, many other band members - Noel Crombie, Nigel Griggs and Eddie Rayner, joined former member Phil Judd to form the lesser known Schnell Fenster.

In the next days, if you can think of songs you like that have a colour in the title, or performers name, then you are welcome to include them.
Following the rainbow colours, starting tomorrow, Tuesday - Red, Wed - Orange, Thur - Yellow, Fri - Green, Sat - Blue and Sun - Purple.
Some RED songs that I personally like.
The last song might not be to everyone's liking, but since rock n' roll has been a big part of my growing up, I can relate to it well.
I'm also a big fan of the Reggae genre.

I actually saw Pearl Jam play I Got You live back in Perth in 2006, Was totally unexpected on the night. Great song.

Pearl Jam have only ever played it 5 times, so a real rarity from them. Here is the last time they played it in 2009 in New Zealand with Neil Finn too.

Seems a lot of Pearl Jam clips from Youtube are getting blocked on this site, but just search Pearl Jam - I Got You - Christchurch on youtube if you'd like to see it.

Today is my personal fav band... Metallica. Been a long time fan of their's and even been lucky enough to meet the band twice over the years, Never get sick of listening to them.

Probably not going to be too popular around here going off songs and bands posted... but there may be a few metal heads out there, lol

First off, a live performance with the late great Cliff Burton on bass!!

Haha, that's what I think sometimes before I submit a song.
There are many, many good songs out there, but what makes a song/band special to an individual is the connection that one has to a song/band. Others cannot relate to that 'special' meaning, but can appreciate the song.

I have some favourite genres that I can relate to. One genre that doesn't have many songs that I like is Jazz, yet others love it.

I wanted you to post so what or breadfan from Garage Days. Might go and youtube em now!

Meet and greet would be freakin awesome. Have seen them 5 times I think and have many signed CD's from a 90's tour.

Live show is so energetic, I'm exhausted afterwards! "Fuel" has been my ringtone for about 12 years. Every time I hear it on my gym mix I think my phone is ringing :). Love the openings to the Zombieland movies too :)

You've got a co-fan in me!

Something different today, My dad used to play this guy's music all the time, so I picked up my enjoyment of his music from him, like I did many other bands and artists that where from before my time.... Cat Stevens

Love Cat Stevens. My Dad also got me interested in him.

Have seen him live twice and he was amazing both times.

This is one of my faves:
