Heath Shaw vs no Heath Shaw in my final side.

In order to get him in >$600k I am going to have to wait until after round 15'ish without ruining my other plans to complete my side earlier. But a final Defensive line without him looks poor.

I think I already know the answer, but its just so hard to get him in at a massive price for a defender without moving heaven and earth and compromising my other trades

I'm short $10k for Selwood, but can afford Rockliff.

A: wait 1 round for Selwood (ie spend this round upgrading Kerridge to Dahlhaus)

B: go for Rockliff

Shaw is too expensive at the moment. Focus on upgrading other parts of your team for now, you just need to hope that a 65 point game happens soon to drag his price back to around $550k or less.

Deledio vs Dahlhaus?

Confident in Deledio to score better even taking into account the possibility of missing a game.
However, Dahlhaus is cheaper and fits my bye structure a tiny bit better. (20 in round 13 & 20 in round 14 instead of 19 in round 13 & 21, meaning I don't have to take Tucker's score in either round 13 or 14)

Cheers

Here's an interesting quandary.

Option 1

D: Shaw, Docherty, Boyd, Rance, Bartel, McVeigh
M: Dangerfield, Hannebery, Pendlebury, Ablett, Selwood, Priddis, Gray, Rockliff
R: Goldstein, Naitanui

Option 2

D: Shaw, Rance, Bartel, Laird, McVeigh, Rich
M: Dangerfield, Hannebery, Pendlebury, Ablett, Selwood, Priddis, Gray, Rockliff
R: Goldstein, Gawn

Option 3

D: Shaw, Boyd, Rance, Bartel, Laird, McVeigh
M: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Ablett, Parker, Selwood, Priddis, Gray, Rockliff
R: Goldstein, Gawn

Not keen on holding Naitanui because of question marks over his Achilles.

But if I hold him as R2 I can significantly improve my backline with Docherty and Boyd.

If I move him on for Gawn, I have to take Laird and Rich (but I can still take Hannebery).

If I take Gawn and someone like Parker (passing on Hannebery), I can take Boyd instead of Rich.

What do, supercoachscores?

Feerits Elf ideally you would want Boyd Laird Hanners Gawn I wouldn't personally touch Docherty at his price he doesn't have a history of such high scoring but is very tempting and i get why you have him there.
I think his horse bolted

Docherty would be post-bye when he is projected to be sub-$550k. Alternatively Simpson.

As shown above, Boyd/Laird/Hannebery/Gawn is not achievable (would have to take Parker in lieu of Hannebery).

Tough one. I think your bye stats and likely game missed for Lids has me favouring Dahl. I do like Lids though, would be a handy pod.

Option one, especially if it saves you a trade. I'd do NN to Gawn only if a proper injury strikes, not pre-emptively.

Also, I'd seriously consider Laird over Doc. Simpson is probably better again.

From best to worst, out of Selwood, R Gray, Ward, Priddis?

Selwood is the logical one to be best, but I think Geelong will "rest" him in at least one of the last 4 easy games (Essendon, Richmond, Brisbane, Melbourne).

Selwood a clear best of the four. Hard to split the others.

I wouldn't not pick him because of the slight chance he is rested late in the season.
