Franklin V Billings V Heeney? Have had Franklin until now but getting cold feet. Already have D.Smith, Walters, Petracca as my other premos.
Appreciate any advice before the Saints v Bris game starts. Good luck all.

Thanks,

Thoughts on Armatidge+Martin/Goldy vs Treloar/Bont+Lycett?

with highlighted being my preferred
Tough one. I have Bont and Lycett, so I guess option two.

I would actually go for Martin over Goldy as well given less JS uncertainty and Goldy going okay but not great against Gawn in the JLT. I know it's just a preseason game, but if he's supposed to be back it would have been good to see a bit more evidence of that. Suspect you've followed him closely as a North fan though.

Can't go too far wrong with those three, but I'd have a Buddy as an upgrade target and narrowly prefer Heeney over Billings (I have both). Same bye too.

I think Billings and heeney are much better picks compared to Walter, but I say Billings is ahead of Heeney because even tho both should be top 6, I see Billings seasonal score being more weighed to the front of the season

Petracca VS Brayshaw + 250k in the bank.

Brayshaw will make 3 rookies on field in the midfield. 250k will be for corrections/Danger fund.

Petracca will be in the midfield with the intention of moving forward when a gap opens up.

Null and void. Game has started, so Brayshaw stays!

Tossing up if i should make a late change.

Parker + ZGL/Venables/Waterman vs McLean + Kelly(Geel)

Tom Mitchell v Josh Kelly
Mitchell for me (I have him but not Kelly), especially if you want a high steady scorer who plays late as a C option.

Not sure one option is so much better that I'd waver from your preseason research, but of the three rookies listed as options I would select Venables, and likely err on him and Parker myself.

as good form as Buddy looks preseason Heeney. Have a look at Buddy's scores last year, had a couple of good games to start then falls into an 80-95 range. last couple of years has had two massive scores at end of year that boost his average and only two in the rest of the year. Tends to throw up some low scores maybe as the season catches up with him and then you want to look at him.
Thanks boys

Reckon option 2 is 80 points up on this round alone, and probably up most weeks anyway, even factoring for C scores. Option 2 by a long way. Like both Devon and Petracca but probably Devon first.
Went Option 2 in the end, and went with Devon (who made his way into my side 20 mins before the game for the first time all preseason lol).

Worth going Coniglio to Parker? Money isn't an issue as I have more than enough but i am looking for value this year. Can see parker going 112-115 this year but if Coniglio goes near 108-110 then I might be better off just saving the $100k. Thoughts?

Coniglio. On those returns Coniglio a clear win.

Hibberd v Lloyd?

The $65k saved facilitates Bonner (if necessary) in one trade.

Actually might post this in the main thread.
Hi mate, I am worried about the impact McVeigh would have on Lloyd off HB. His scoring seriously dipped after McVeigh and Rampe came back into the team last year. I am more confident about Hibberd being among the top Defenders so would take him. I know he doesn't present much in the way of value but he would seem to be the better pick. Question marks about Lever's arrival but personally don't think that will affect Hibberd too much, if at all.
