I was hoping to find an alternative to Dusty at a similar price, but as you say, Greene is not a great option in terms of durability.
I'll probably grab Dusty next week.
I'm already bringing in Langford this week (y)
Dusty + Langford feels like a good combo, just sucks Dusty has a bye this week so you miss a score!

Coming off a bye already I'm guessing?
Merret, Jelly, Neale, Walsh in that order.

You've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel Lachie?"

Huge upside if it clicks, soft draw, finals bound etc.
Thanks for adding others that start with a 5, I actually already have Merret and Neale so I guess you are a vote for Jelly

Laird as a mid or def?
Normally I would choose defender to bring in another mid but.......
The defenders are close to the m8's this year. It would be Rich vs Titch vs Boak vs Wines.
Laird as a mid covers my defenders where my cover is Bianco.
Laird as a defender covers the mids where I will have Newcombe and Edwards.
I would have to use a 4th trade of Murphy out to do 3 mids.
I can do 2 mids and a defender in 3 trades.
The spare trade will probably be the difference for upgrading a faux premium like Impey.

I think the mids average 5+ over rich comfortably in the run Home
I think it’s personally a waste having laird in the mids
Take advantage of him in the backline
Edwards and Newcombe are fine cover for the mids
If you have the bianco loop laird can still go into the mids
would take wines/titch any day of the week of rich in the run home
If I’m picking one it’s wines
Think he’s in elite touch
Great ceiling
He’s number 1 at port now and they’ll be going for a top 4 spot with a softish draw
Get on

Laird in the mids is an opportunity cost.

Do you have Neale already? He's a guy who could easily average 115 from here that costs similar to the defenders.

Remember it's not Laird vs a mid, it's the D6 you take instead. I know my Doch/Whitfield problem spot at D5/6 aren't likely to match a Petracca or Neale type.

I agree. But it's also Bianco vs Newcombe and Edwards. And I'm carrying Houston. I've been playing more aggressively this year and once Laird goes back I really am flying by the seat of my pants.

Greene v Hawkins v Dale
I'm looking at the exact same scenario as I'm going Heeney to one of these. Not sure which is the best option as I also have Impey so the extra cash from Greene might be useful to turn him into Danger or someone else in a week or 2. I could probably find a downgrade to make that happen if needed I guess.

Walsh, just. Titch might be putting himself in the shop window...
Agreed re: Titch entering the conversation now.

To be honest the only reason why I'm even asking is the 7 tackles from Titch last week, and watching the game he actually made some of his one-on-one tackles stick and took the opposition player to the ground instead of being gifted the SC tackle freebies you sometimes see. Probably the missing aspect of his game over the first half of the season, but if his shoulder is feeling good enough for him to lift his tackling output then it should do good things for his scoring in the run home.

Two trades used and Neale or cheaper in, versus one trade and any mid under $500k?

I'll have either seven or eight trades left after this week with Grundy to bring back in.

Depends on the other trade, but can’t see anyone under $500k to bring in.

Im looking at Neale next week to complete team.

Edwards V Bramble?

Bramble will add a score this week (18) but consider Edwards as the better rookie JS and scoring.

Highmore to either Edwards or Bramble.

Technically Highmore will make some more cash in coming weeks (Poulter too, and Neale dropping) but I still have Robertson and Flynn fully priced to target Grundy back in, along with Bianco and CCJ looking solid so the value of having an extra premium this week instead of a donut (100 points) outweighs the cash ($100k).

Definitely leaning towards Neale FWIW.
