That’s it, I have had enough. First rant of the year. Bye rounds have been an unmitigated disaster for me.

Round 12 - 1718 from 21
Stewart subbed 39
Trac crook 70
Baz suspended 67
Darcy C 58

Round 13 - 1834 from 16
Rioli dropped
Preuss not selected
Owens (traded in) subbed/concussed 26

Round 14 - ???
Owens concussed
Clark dropped
Khamis dropped
Rosas crook
Rioli sub - 10 mins 25
Butters subbed 50ish
Teakled injured and done 20ish

Still 3 games to go…
…and now Preuss subbed off for 17. Sometimes this game just makes you want to cry.

Adelaide Crows +27.5 line to complete a 23/1 multi. 13 points behind with just over 5mins left. 43 at the death. I’m usually pretty calm, but my state during what could only be described as a debacle would make angry an understatement.

Watching those two diabolical efforts in defence from kick outs (shoutout to Brodie Smith) lead to goals made me utter between 10-20 expletives in very short spaces of time. Looked up ‘voodoo dolls’, ‘anger management’ and ‘jail time for sporting incompetence’ since the game ended, but settled on coming here to allow others to turn my low moment into something enjoyable.

I’m fully expecting the crows to beat the swans in round 19 just to rub it in and volume 2 will certainly be forthcoming.

Another week another *#@&ing disaster.

Mills (c), Parker, Heeney and Sinclair in a massive Sydney win miss their projection (and average) by 190 points. How does that happen?

Gone from a strong position to a weak position in all my matchups especially with PODs against of Lloyd and Marshall in some of them.

Had enough of this bull#$&@.

Rookies, what a crapshoot.

Starters:
M Owens= Traded to N Martin in RD2= $14,900
B Hough= Still holding but price has only increased by $29,900
F Maginness= Traded to H Dixon in RD5 for a cost of $1,700
J Ward= Traded to P Cripps in RD3 @ $454,800
D Stephens= Traded to T Dow in RD3 for $3,300

RD3:
S Skinner= To fund M McGovern and J Ward to P Cripps and I Heeney, Rich was traded to Skinner. The alternative at that time was N O’Driscoll. Skinner then traded to N O’Driscoll in RD5 for a cost of $43,800.

RD8:
H Dixon traded to C Hamilton with Hamilton omitted in RD10.

RD9:
M Rioli= 7 scored

What a relief for the pricing and performance of the likes of W Brodie and B Preuss.
New additions since that post:
RD10:
R Thompson= Injury

RD11:
Out: B Hough, In: C Stephens (and fielded over G Clark)

RD12:
Out: M Rosas
In: T English
-3 points

RD13:
Owens subbed out (traded back in during RD12)

What does the remainder of the season have in store? :ROFLMAO:
Due to the above, Derksen is selected over Wehr because of low trades, uncertainty about Wehr’s job security and to keep the dual position link open with McCartin, with a concern about defensive rookies for the remainder of the season. Means forgoing D’Ambrosio since he is not needed as the link will close and because I own super premium D Zorko who occupies D6 since RD8 instead of selecting the likes of J Sicily and T Stewart.

Now over to John Cooper Clarke for a recap of my season and trades
“Stop that horse
He wears my shirt
Regret remorse
O how they hurt
I knock on doors
They turn to dirt
Always the beggar
Never the chooser
Half-clever
Full-time loser

From the slumberland
That time forgot
To the wonderland
Of a spineless clot
Who understands
Who calls the shots
You might know
It’s another user
Part-time poet
Full-time loser”

Old Zorks might be nearing the forked stage as an SC pick.
He's yet another screaming example of why you don't target guys with very bad preseasons. Hall also throwing his hat in the ring tonight as evidence. Neale last year.

The number of them that come out flying and stay fit has to be a minority.

Devil's advocate but Zorko will be very cheap to start next season now...

I'll probably look at him again, preseason or not.

I'll also hit the byes again struggling to complete my team & wonder where it all went wrong.

My D6 since "upgrading" Daicos.

Zorko - 84, 37, 103, 53 (inj)
Stewart - 95, 161 (susp)
Hall - 18 (inj)
Whitfield - 46

Hopeless scoring, lost soooo much cash and used up 4 trades. 😡
Very unfortunate Donny, I too traded him out after round 10 thinking he was done as a rookie, I did trade him to Hewett though so that's a slight win. Wouldn't mind still having Daicos though.
