I hate losing games on iffy free kicks but it seems to be happening a lot to Essendon

Yeah the umpiring sucks. Not as bad as last week, but still.

But Walla doesn't pass off to Smack and takes the set shot and kicks the goal, and with that momentum, it's pretty much game over. We burned ourselves in the forward line.

Played you in Backburners and that late Saad goal got you within a point of me and then scaling got you 1 point in front.

Should have just deleted the team earlier when it was clear that not having any of the top 4-5 scorers as starters and then a rash of injuries and under performing premos meant no upgrades early to mid season.

I've learned my lesson though - never entering any sort of competition on here again and will just wallow in abject mediocrity out of sight, if I actually can be bothered starting another team next year.

I might join you actually, haven't felt like this in a long time.
5 good weeks of improvement makes no difference when all it takes is 1 week of random out-of-the-blue sucker punch to knock you in the face.

as frustrating as it it (and believe me I know) just have a bit of fun with your side for the final 8 weeks , try a few different players.

I have learnt not to compare my score to all the guns on here , and just try and improve a little each week

I saw that. Sorry mate. A lot of my H2H matches were close and a few were decided by that goal.

Edit: Won games by - 15, 10, 2, 1 points. A couple of others won or lost by 20 odd.

Undisciplined play by McKenna gives Shaw a 50m and goal......blame the umpire , yeah right.

Maybe players skill errors eg McGrath handball gets intercepted results in a turnover

Shiel deliberate hand ball out of bounds = goal for Cameron
