Finding it hard to choose who to play out of Neade, Rowe and Blicavs. Does anyone have any thoughts on there scoring potential. Neade is playing GWS so he may do alright, Blicavs will get another go to ruck with West against the Kangas, and Rowe has been named as starting forward. Tough choice and I don't want to have the same issue as last week with Viney on the bench instead of Jones. Currently I am leaning towards Neade. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

He is on the extended bench remember, hears hoping he doesn't get a run. Yet anyway. LOL:D
Oh right, i haven't even seen the teams haha, just going off the ins. You'd know better than me but he'd have pretty dodgy JS i'd imagine and would probably need a few injuries to get any kind of gametime.

I have the same issue Whateverittakes!

Which one to start out of Rowe v Blicavs v Neade v Caffer...

I think Caffer is out straight away. Rowe and Blicavs play Sunday and so the choice can wait a bit, Neade on Sat. As others have pointed out, Neade will probably score the highest, while Rowe hasn't played and Blicavs hasn't officially been selected yet. Hmmm.

I have the same problem to, also add Dwyer to the list of Rowe, Blicavs, Neade and Macaffer for me.

Really tempting to trade one of the underperforming forwards(ryder, zorko, karnesis) for leunsburger.... But i guess i will hold. Brad crouch tempting too, but nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. But ben kennedy looks like someone who will get 10-12 games this year and average 65, dpp too :D
But Kennedy has Sinclair, Macaffer, Dwyer, Krakouer, Didak, Fasolo etc competing with him for a spot as a small forward and even Thomas might fit that bill with Sidebottom in the rotations assuming Ball and Beams in the guts with Swan and Pendles. Are you sure he gets 10-12 games. I fear for our season if he does.

Reckon Mitchell will be prime candidate for the vest again. Should I satisfy that itchy trigger finger and trade to Viney?

IMO Rowe has the better scoring potential, he can take a contested mark & is quite mobile as well. Will spend some time in the ruck at some stage.

Are most with selection dramas as to which player to start, which I feel isn't the biggest issue, just waiting until the subs are announced and first to not be named as sub be played on the field?

I know that's what I will be doing rather than taking risks

I like Rowe as a player but statistically from watching him play a year over here for Norwood I'd be surprised is he ever gets more than 10 possessions in a Afl game. Even as a ruckman he barely touched it when I saw him, moved beautifully and reminded me of J Brown but just never found himself near the footy enough. Really hope he does well tho.

Annoying that the likes of Crouch, Terlich and potentially Kennedy are debuting round 2.
Extremely frustrating. Hoping that Crouch is subbed the next two games, coz I already have 2 trades planned for rd 4 :(

My opinions only based on half a dozen times seeing him live, I hope he succeeds at Afl level as I hoped port would pick him up a couple years ago. Always appeared too small as a ruck and too slow and dinosaur like as a roaming forward. Really Looking forward to seeing him play for the number 1 draft pick team tho and hope he gets a free games to get up to speed at Afl level.

Same for me.

Wish the game schedule allowed the emergency loophole for Rowe and Blicavs with Currie at R2. Would take the risk and move Cox to F1, methinks.
