What to do if you have both Cripps and Neale and can only trade one...
We know very little about Neale's issues, while we have more info on Cripps issues. Neale is a 'guess' what will happen, while Cripps we 'know' his issues.
I would lean to fixing the known problem, then fixing a guessing problem.

Is it clear what Cripps' exact back issue is?
You could line up something like a pinched nerve in terms of timelines, but it would be cavalier to play heavy contact sports if that's what it is.

I will be interested to see how you go with these trades, as I have considered it myself and decided to keep both. Only doing Bruhn to Jordon. I feel that holding a trade now might pay off for me more than side swapping a midpricer, but only time will tell.
I just dont see the point of keeping guys 200K plus that are scoring 50's and 60's with positive Breakevens already, both are going to struggle to make 100K unless you see a massive score spike coming.

It’s just 2 rounds, who’s to say Daniher and Walker don’t flip scores this round? Or Dow puts out a 90-100, I’m happy to be patient as my team is scoring well, and don’t see either as a must fix.

Am torn now after Sharp was speared.

Was set on Dow to Jordon / Cripps to Ridley - but now not sure...

Can’t afford to do the same with Sharp, but could go Sharp/Cripps to Jordon/Short?

Comes down to how I rank Ridley vs Short compared to holdings Sharp vs Dow. Hmmm
Hold Sharp for now and do the original trade. I’ve got Short but concerned about Houli return.

Youd think with Day out Impey has to be one of their main distributors out of defence, also has a 120 there to kick start cash gen for another fortnight.
That 120 was against the form pressure side in the comp in Richmond too. Round 1 he butchered the footy, hence his low score. If he can maintain that sort of efficiency against the lesser pressure sides he should score well for his price.

Key problem in my team right now is D6, looking to address with a premo defender. Current rank ~5k - I've never started this well and keen to double down!

Cripps and Cahill will be the outs. Options for ins:

1. Ridley + Brockman
2. Bowes + Impey

Option 1 is pretty safe, and barring injury gives me an almost-guaranteed Top 6 DEF premo. However, it means after some DPP reshuffling I'll be playing DEF rookie roulette between Rowe and Brockman, putting the F6 score at risk (unless Scott not named, I have no forward loop).

Option 2 is a bit more risk taking - Bowes far from a guaranteed Top 6, and I would still need to bring in Ridley and Lloyd during upgrade season (albeit can move Laird to mids if that works as an option). But the POD factor is very appealing in terms of capitalising on a good start to push for overall, and Impey at F6 gives more certainty around average score.
Bumping this, hoping for some community wisdom :D

Certainly more risk with the 2nd option but short term I prefer it as Impey should be a big points gain on Brockman/Rowe

As a Bowes owner, I hope he’s top 6 but long term the issue might be you leaking points to a top 6 defender. As you mention though, you also have a spot to get Ridley/Lloyd later on 👍🏻

I'm not sure where a ton even comes from from Dow, hes never done it in 44 games of senior footy it's not just 2 poor games, feel like hes just overrated as a player at the moment to be honest.
Daniher you can make a stronger case but even if Walker scores back to back 60's he's making 100K, when you add in Daniher being made of glass and having to get used to a whole new system it's more than worth the minimal risk for mine.
Tex will likely make 100-150 in the next few weeks. Daniher probably 50-100. That's not a massive gain for a trade.

Daniher won't get over 300K with how he's currently scoring, just look at his projections, I see him getting stuck when hes got to face Darcy Moore this weekend off a very limited preparation, Dogs in Ballarat to back it up isnt an overly enticing matchup either, basically just backing in Tex to make more money and do it alot faster.

Probably not 2 keepers but might help get the better rookies onfield and the bad ones off

Cripps - > Cumming/Jiath/Markov type
Cahill - > Hind/Walker/Atkins/Switkowski/Motlop/McDonald/Impey type

Aim would be that the 2 players you bring in maintain their scoring of 90ish ppg + you are getting JordOn onfield

40-50 points better off in defence
Cripps v JordOn is only -5
30-40 points better off in forward

so possibly a 70-90 overall gain each round

I dont think CJ/Atkins types have to be keepers, if they can score 80-100 for a couple months its alot better than a rookie on field throwing up the odd 30, I have a structure based around those types and scored 2366 in Round 2.

Exactly

Pay $ 275-325 for 2 90+ players

or $ 550k for a 105-110 and a rookie who we don't know what they may or not score after 2 games

If the players mentioned are scoring 80-90 ish to the byes achieved their job.
