Anyone with Cripps and Taranto willing to carry them for now? It's not like Cripps has scored significantly worse than more expensive options like Neale, JKelly and Merrett (the latter two are my m2 and m3 and I have no desire to get rid of them). Taranto you would expect a couple of low games anyway. The first half against Richmond was evidence that Crippa can still dominate.

Williamson, and Setterfield were considerably worse, but yes if they drop 3 he's out
Kennedy,Carroll,Cunningham,Stocker there as direct mid/forward replacements, Betts,JSOS,Marchbank and McGovern to return from injury imminently also, going to have to play alot better to hold for mine in the short-medium term.

I love you just dropped this here without commentary. I was looking down the list for my players, and I'm like wait... Zmerrett didn't score that much...ROLF not this year anyways. So a heads up everyone, this is a beaut summation of what Rowsus is describing early - players who go bang in round 1 and 2 don't keep it up, unless your name is Max Gawn and that included his second lowest (well yeah he missed a few games, I'm not counting the 0's) score for the season.

Tyson to Impey via Dow dpp locked in.

Got fyfe and tempted to trade him to Titch/Brayshaw to stay close to the pack. Also want to rage trade Jelly to Steele. The right thing to do is hold Fyfe for a week yeh. Marathon season ect.....
Worried the way GWS are playing Jelly will have his worst season in years.

Merrett is a clear case of one good pre season game and people thinking a player is better than what they actually are.

Yes (Hangs head in shame and quietly walks away) I think I was hoping for a rules based boost, that's what I'll tell myself anyway.

I’m holding Cripps and Taranto as a premium/improver respectively. Fixing cash generation first is my priority even though it results in a slow start hopefully it will pay off later down the track.

Looking at going a little different.

Tom Phillips to Tex Walker. Pure cash grab, B/E -114. Almost forced into the trade. Already have Atkins and Impey.
Then,
Taranto to Dunkley. While I expect Taranto going at 90's, I can see Dunkley going 105 -110 and will be a forward keeper.

Gaff has got to go, so my initial thought is to trade him to a Fwd as I have a 7 'premo' midfield and running 4 Fwd rookies. The issue for me is that there are no real standout Fwd premos that entice me, so I might as well take a punt on Butters (who I was keen on in my starting team) I know that Rozee will be back but probably underdone and will play quite a few games deeper Fwd (bit like Butters last year) what I'm seeing from Butters though is the impact that he's making further up the ground, so much so that he's probably Ports best player and I can't see them reducing his output.

So, Gaff > Jordan and H. Jones > Butters (don't want any Dons players, but still have Zerrett)

Leaves me 100k ITB, half of which will probably be used to get CCJ in once Fullarton/Hunter are dropped.

I will be holding cripps.

Gaff will likely move to Impey for Cash.?

But Gaff to Brawshaw also on the table.?

H. Jones > J. Jordon
Anyone with Nat Fyfe considering trading him out to Tex and rolling with the 4 mid rookies in Berry, Jordon, Powell, Gulden?
This will leave me with $409k ITB, don't like trading premo's but seems to good of an opportunity to pass up especially with Fyfe basically guarentee'd to miss Round 3.
Don't like Tex's scoring history last few years, he has been well below his best and first opportunity I get to trade him out at around $450k I'll be doing it.

I have both.
As of Monday morning, I might hold both but more tempted to shift the spider's arse from my team tbh.
1 trade will be dedicated to getting Jordon but after that, have all the rookies so still considering.

Probably more a 105 guy for mine, not going to help that they don't have a Ruckman and will go without Shiel long term and no Caldwell for probably a month.

Lazzaro and Jones to Jordan and Brockman. Much prefer to get as many of the money making rookies as possible than dump the likes of Neal, Cripps and Taranto. As we all know cash generation is what its all about.

Considering Tarranto to Tex (Jones -> Berry as the other trade makes it work), don't feel great doing it but I have concerns around GWS and Tex's BE is -114 with a seemingly soft month ahead (GC, North, Freo and Hawks).

McDonald is probably the only other rookie I missed out on, but have opted for Berry over him. The above leaves me with nearly $200k if he forces my hand with another big score next week.

Any Tom Phillips owners likely to just hold him? Scored 90 round 1 and still had 24 touches round 2 but only went at 45% DE and had 6 clangers attributing to his poor score.

Still a chance of averaging in the 90's from here?
Holding him because other players are more urgent trades (Caldwell and T Green)
