I only need to upgrade Cumming in defense, so not looking there. It's Lloyd or Mills at this point for me.

I need two genuine upgrades in the mids but Jordon is scoring great and I can flip Laird so have a choice of Parks, Scott, Berry, Kosi and Murphy for that M8 spot. Forwards I have Scott after fielding Farrar, Bergman and Warner. So need to address the F6 at the very least.

Disagree on forward options as well.

Dale, Hall, Martin, Hawkins, Impey, Greene, Zorko, Sidebottom, Hind, Atkins, Marshall, Cameron and Bailey are all somewhere in the value equation compared to what they're capable of. Definitely more speculative but they're all coming in at somewhere in the 100k less than Oliver types right now (Marshall aside).

Don't get me wrong, I wish I could push Jordon and Laird into the forwards and pick up a couple of premium mids first but for my side especially those forward spots are a glaring hole and I'd like to fill two of them so I can pick Danger/Marshall most likely for the final spot if I can!

But totally about upgrading those weakest spots as best you can. Hawkins at 475k is capable of averaging 110 from here for example. I'd say Martin at 440k is capable of 105, meanwhile I'm liking a guy like Gaff at 530k for 110 as well.

Not disagreeing with the number of options up forward, just none that stand out. Martin is an upgrade in 2 weeks, Impey, Atkins, Hind. Atkins and Baily are all known entities and you either had them or will only bring them in if you run out of cash.

Jezza, Hawkins are the annual KPF risk/reward options and for me they tend to be my last chance saloon options. Great when it pays off though. like Hawk last year.

Hall, I cannot even believe I am looking at him. Though there is definitely a case to be made for him if he keeps his current role.
Greene is interesting, love him as a player and plays a difficult spot and does it well. Captaincy suits him and may even temper his annual holiday weeks courtesy of the Tribunal.

With Zeibell, Impey, [Bolton], Daniher, Warner, I was well positioned to rotate Dev, Scott, Farrar, and loop Treacy until byes or I trade out Flynn. Bolton out has now forced me to have to consider all the known knowns, the known unknowns and unknown unknowns that I have been happily putting off until post bye. Plan is Martin, Marshall then late in season Danger and in case of glass break Heeney/Greene.

Would rather trade jelly, titch first. then aim for one of steele, lyons only have 3 mid spots left. thinking too hard for a monday night.

Ridley only had 30 odd % of kick ins? 3 out of 11 in Round 8.
4 kick ins from 7 in round 7.
something to keep an eye on?
And 2 mid 80 scores has his bubble burst?

It could just be a week-by-week thing: he was apparently playing on Toby Greene who does go up the ground quite a bit, ie Ridley would have been too far from goal to take kicks ins while taking care of his defensive duties. Having said that it does bear scrutiny over the next few weeks.

Crisp number one MID for the Pies. Hadn't realised he'd gone to THAT level.

Harmes also interesting. Viney listed as 2-3 but I'm pretty sure I saw/heard a news report yesterday that he might be a bit longer.

Buckley doing Buckley things moved Pendles out of the midfield, I mean it sort of worked as they scraped past North but he really does do some stupid things.

Crisp has been used on and off in the mids over the last couple of years, usually a more defensive mid role but he could end up anywhere.
